And I said you didn't include the posts I was responding too! Is it so hard not to see why I want to defend my corner when someone is multi-quoting me without showing the reasons to my responses? It's only fair someone gets the chance to defend the accusations of being called a troll.

You already admitted you waded into the thread with a few stupid comments, you then questioned why people would do that to you when all you did was discuss the game, I pointed out you didn't just discuss the game but wound people up with trolling posts.

I answered your question "but what else would you call it when someone is clearly trying to paint a negative and one sided picture of you?"

Your post count, you are the only person painting yourself in a negative light here :)

I've just defended myself, you would have done the same had everyone jumped on you for posting views on a football match. Nothing negative other than replying in an intelligent manner. And some people seem to agree with me.

Virtual shaking of hands? Even though we still disagree in our minds? ;)

I wouldn't have done the same, I've never replyed in an intelligent manner and I've never had anyone agree with me.

I realise it's a joke but if we resort to that everytime two people debate then what's the point in having a forum?

mmmm not really in the context of the debate you two were having to be honest. As I said, I apologise if you felt it was a personal insult, however your conversation was hardly on a high brow or sensitive topic. A little bit of a wind up in a way that I assume (perhaps wrongly) you would have got without any clarification on my part isn't a big deal in my opinion.

I could have called you a **** or a condescending **** or insulted your intelligence, upbringing, or several other things about you which i think would have been quite a bit more serious or easy to take offence to rather than a blatantly ridiculous, fictional attack on your winky.

(I've made all those things up btw, I don't consider you particularly condescending or anything I was just illustrating my point).

That's just my take on it.

That's fair enough but when people call me a troll and then other posters goad me into a response then it's just double standards that's all.

I think I've tripled my average post per day in the past 3 hours :p
