We deserved more from the game, certainly didn't deserve to lose but that's football. I was impressed with some of the players, I thought Carrick did very well. It's been a while since I've seen Chelsea's midfield not actually do much over the course of 90 minutes, kudos has to be given to Anderson, Fletcher, Carrick and Valencia, all for carrying out their defensive duties very well.
The one thing that stands out from the game is our lack of clinical finishing. Game after game we squander real goal scoring oppportunities. Hopefully now Carrick is regaining form and Anderson is improving again, Fletcher is back and raring to get stuck in that we find a midfield four that works and stick to it. Continually chopping and changing the midfield really is having an effect on our play game to game. It's time we had a settled midfield. Everything else will fall into place and we'll go on a good run of games.

Ok I'm going to rephrase my last statement, have you ever watched a football match?
You do realise you don't have to be in the league to look like winning? At 0-0 anything can happen, some good possession, good chances and you look like winning.

thats my point... we never look like breaking that 0-0...well okay we 'look' to do it...but in the broadest sense of yes we may hit the odd 35 yard shot at their keepr but its not the same at all.

It's fine when you win but as soon as a defeat comes your way its another story.

Please understand that the SA is one of the best sub forums for just having a laugh and a bit of banter, for some little Chelsea fan to come in and start shouting "OMGZ we Beatz you HaHaH OWNED" can be slightly annoying.
Best thing to do, join in our debates on here and discuss football like the rest of us do, don't come in shouting about how great your team are when to be honest it seems you watched a completely different game anyway!

I think JamesU2005 has been rather unfairly treated. There have been a lot of troll comments saying his views are worth less because he posts rarely. Expressions like 'jumped up little chelsea fan' are a bit pathetic too imo. People always post when they're happy their team won a big game. That's nothing new and there's nothing wrong with it.
Anyway, with regard to the man u vs liverpool comments I thought liverpool completely dominated that game. This wasn't the case at all in the chelsea man u game where it was fairly even.
