Weekend Football Thread. 7-9 *spoilers*

Is it just me or were all of Gomes' saves fairly standard? I'm not saying he's a n average keeper because he's clearly not, but I think most keepers would've saved those shots, even the pen was straight at him.
 
Decent performance from Arsenal yesterday...wasnt one of our best but at least we are winning games and seem to be winning by some margin.

Chelski and Man Utd are going to need to take notice of our challenge...write us off at your peril...but knowing our luck we will end up going on a pretty crappy run with draws and losses:p.

I just hope todays match ends up a draw...that would be ace for Arsenal and the sux for Chelski and Man Utd...if i had to put money on who was to win it...id put my money on Chelski...Man Utds defence truly sucks at the moment...they leaked 3 goals in the last game against CSKA...i hope they all take each other out though:p:D

He did all that was asked of him and did it well. :)

Especially after picking up what looked like a painful knock to his shoulder in the first half.

Getting fed up of Eduardo's dive being mentioned in every game he plays in, including todays.

Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking Bent dived. He was clearly going down before any contact, anticipating Gomes would touch him.

I don't understand why most people think this is ok?? :confused: Even most Spurs fans on the forums seem to think the ref got it right, it was a penalty but only a yellow card as the ball was travelling away from goal.... WALOB.
