I agree, horribly written, also wrong in part. De Jong was good, but it wasn't him that took Fabregas out of the game, it was Wenger, he simply doesn't get the ball quick enough with the two idiots behind him, and also with one person making runs ahead and no pace on the wings with people helping run at the defence, theres simply no one to pass to. Same with Anderson he gets credit for taking Fabregas out the game, he never came close, the ridiculous system we played in those games also gave Fabregas no chance to do what he does best.

RVP alone upfront means Fabregas doesn't have options to pass runners in behind, the lack of other quality players to pass Fabregas in behind or into dangerous places, IE< Arshavin, also meant he had no good passing into him, nor anyone available to pass too.

I really hope Ade gets a huge ban for that stamp as frankly its one of the most malicious and dangerous fouls i've seen in ages. He could easily, really easily have very seriously damaged RVP's eye there. IT was intentional and so dangerous, not a kick out at the back of someones leg, stamping on their face by their eye is disgusting.
 
Just back from the match - Stoke vs Chelsea.

Can't argue with the result as they were far the bettrer team, gutted we lost it in the last 2minutes - but thats football.

Can anyone explain why Chelsea's players have trouble staying on the feet and staying away from the ref?

He's still Utd's best DM out of whose available(that Fergie will play in that role) and unsurprisingly the bad tackle he does is from behind, staying on his feet before that he won lots of the ball and was the start of most quick attacks. He does insist on doing at least one bad tackle from behind in every game of his career though, maybe its just susperstition now, he feels if he doesn't get a yellow card the team will lose :p
