Don't see how he had a chance with the goal really.
On his day he can be brilliant, unfortunately not that many of those days in a Utd shirt so far
edit - I would agree about the earlier goal though, but others this season he has been at fault for

Has Anderson come close to making a pass yet? everythings underhit, overhit, wrong angle, or just direct to a spurs player. Ok he's not a winger, I'll give you that, but he's got to make passes as a AMC aswell and simple ones are just bad.
I can't understand Fergie's reluctance to try a team and stick with it, nor, especially if Valancia/Nani are deemed unfit or not in form, why not put Rooney back to left wing(or right) and give Owen a few games to see if he can get the goals going.
Thing that seems most obvious so far is Utd are making a LOT of work getting forward, a tonne of little passes to get up the pitch, Spurs get it and break forward fast with 3-4 passes from defence to strikers running at defenders. Another reason why you want Rooney starting with the ball in midfield driving the team forwards with speed.

Scholes is your best DM at the moment, Carrick + Scholes = good central midfield with Carrick pushed forwards of the two, Carrick + Anderson = Carrick playing DM badly and Anderson playing AMC badly.

How many tackles have you seen Scholes make in his career? he is not a DM, he's an SM (**** Midfielder) Fletcher is our best DM currently, so Fergie has stuck him on the wing in his infinite wisdom. We have nobody supporting Rooney and Berb, just hoofing it up to them because it is 2 on 4. Fergi won't change anything until probably the 70th minute and it'll be too late then. The same thing happened against Burnley and Arsenal.
