I don't know why some players think running at full speed towards your own goal is preferable to kicking it out or losing it high up the pitch in their half rather than deep in your own. HIlarious it certainly wasy.

To be fair, I'd take a corner rather than a freekick half a yard from that line, its just too close from there, far more corners get scored than free kicks that close.
