They aren't close to the same team as last year without a few strikers, different defence, all the weakest players long gone, Tevez hasn't really been a goal threat anyway. Their best and most consistant goal threat last year was Ireland, and from set pieces Toure, Lescott and Richards are very strong.
The only thing is you can't really guess at what team they'll put out, they have so many options for either a defensive 4-5-1, or an attacking 4-4-2. I'd also not underestimate Bellamy, he's been incredibly good for them so far playing wing or upfront. He was disciplined and VERY good defensively down the wing aswell, there really wasn't a single attack he didn't run full pace back to help cover at left back, he made a bunch of tackles and was good going forwards aswell.
Wonder if they'll risk starting Roque either in a 4-5-1 with Bellamy on the wing, or a 4-4-2 with Bellamy ahead of him.
Thing is you can say the same about Utd, no real clue who he'll start and where, or in what formation. Utds problem will be how well their midfield copes, its rather turned into Arsenals midfield, they struggle against very good central midfields like they did for 25 mins against Spurs till palacious fouled himself out of the game. De Jong is a truly great DM and Ireland makes a huge number of interceptions and tackles, along with Barry, not exactly technically a great DM or tackler, but gets himself about and pressures the opposing midfield, something Utd haven't coped with very well.
