Weekend Football Thread. *spoilers* 18-22

8mins . If we are honest, i think that we were probably predicted to lose against Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea. Beat Liverpool so that's a plus, and played some good football against the others we have played. Not sure many would have expected us to beat United or Chelsea but we gave it a good go.

Just got to make sure we don't start playing poorly again after the two losses.

ahh all over.

Brilliant start to the season for Chelsea & the fat Italian.
Spurs, started well, but played two top quality teams and beaten comfortable both times.

Really?

I didn't see what Mr Death did wrong in his only season in charge to be honest, second in the league, final of the Champions league. Nobody has really got that far in Europe since with Chelsea have they?
Perhaps, but all Greenback did was tell the lads to play exactly like Jose had told them to. Nobody can really say how he'd have been in a proper injury crisis, or when new signings would have been required.

I liked Hiddink, but I think Ancelotti is a better manager, same goes for Jose.
Hiddink's a pretty likeable guy though, and plays the more entertaining football. No-one's doubting Ancelotti's class, but you can see why they might prefer the former.

Indeed, which is why I would maybe of liked to see a bit more of him, let him try and get them playing his way, who knows what that would have been like.

Oh I agree, Hiddink was a very nice and polite man, a good manager and indeed his sides play good football. Ancelotti's a real classy manager, was the logical replacement for Jose imo.

I liked Hiddink, good character and manager. He didn't see it as just another job, he enjoyed the Premier League and showed more enthusiasm for the F.A. Cup than most people in the country have in the last 10 years which was refreshing.

Great result. :D Spurs started well and the penalty could easily have been given but after that chelsea completely dominated and deserved the victory. I feel a bit sorry for spurs with the injuries - I hope bassong is alright.
