Weekend Football Thread. *spoilers* 22nd-24th

So glad we won today and expecially by 5 goals. Hopefully owen will go on from here and score a good few goals for us as he has been lacking in confidence.
As well as the 5 goals it sounds like we defended and attacked well which is a far cry from the Burnley game.
Lets hope we can kick on from here and build on our performance today and show everyone we dotn need ronaldo
 
yay Boro, 4 games, 4 clean sheets and top of the league (for now)

Can I add, I really hope Boro and Newcastle go up this year. Obviously if only 1 can then its Boro, but I really hope we both do well.
 
Useless BBC feed is still down.

I think the difference today was, actual wingers playing. Fletcher's energy was great as well, really ran the midfield. Vidic was perfect as usual. Also chances just went in, we created plenty of chances against Burnley and in the first half today but just didn't get that bit of luck. In the second half we did.
 
Vidic was a huge bonus today - and well done to Owen for getting off the mark, pity a couple of those goals didnt happen in midweek - still not wholly convinced about our midfield though

Special mention for Rooney who always works his *** off, deserved the couple he got

Unfortunately I think you are right - only because if it is only down to luck then it doesnt really help, because there will be more games like against Burnley unless we do something about it
