Weekend Football Thread *spoilers be inside*

Eduardo up front on his own. Sure, a couple of our midfield will be right up there but I would've preferred Bender or Vela to be up there too, although isn't Bender injured?

PS. What the hell is Song wearing on his wrists? :rolleyes:
 
Bender is injured and Vela isn't great against strong centre backs yet, and especially with Essien there I think he'd get muscled out. Eduardo was the right choice imo
 
Rubbish performance but great result. Reina and Masch were fantastic, Kuyt had a shocker prior to moving up front and Gerrard doesn't look fit at all (barely moved all game).

Oh and Cole isn't just one of the best LB in the world, he's the best. He's the only one anybody has named that is excellent when going forward and defending.

So far so good for Arsenal. Early days but we have had the better game so far. I'd like to see better final ball and a shot on target though. Arshavin reminds me of Meerkats. :)

Wednesday got Palace, could be better, could be worse :p nice to see Mr Warnock again ;)

That should have been a pen against Anelka.
