Weekend Football Thread *spoilers*

Because Carvalho basically kicked Tevez who was jumping out of the way whilst looking the other way, whilst Drogba basically jumped into Evans. Chelsea players were at fault both times  ..... Oh wait I see your sig, nvm.

Ok I really am struggling to understand how anyone could say that the evan's challenge on drogba wasn't a foul by evans and that there wasn't intent.

Best view is at 17s in - Evans looks at drogba and accelerates his foot into his chest. And before you say it, yes drogba does dive and he exaggerates injuries. If you watch the video and still think that it was a foul by drogba then I give up.

Pearls of wisdom from Dion Dublin: "If the striker hits the target, and the keeper doesn't save it, its gonna go in."

If I'm honest I didn't think that Evans did anything wrong; potentially a yellow for a high foot, but he was just heading the ball. When you jump hard your legs will naturally straighten like that before you come down, you see players doing it all the time. Drogba ran into him.

Rosicky is just a crock, feel for him as he's a great talent but think Wenger needs to realise he's not going to be 100% fit ever lol.

Speaking of injuries what's the news on Bullard?

The problem I have with the Drogba thing is that there is NO way he's ever winning that ball, so why is he there other than to foul Evans?

This really, as soon as I saw it I thought what the hell is Drogba playing at, he was nowhere near getting the ball so I can only guess he was trying to get Evans in trouble  Luckily the ref saw through that and his scummy attempts at jerking around on the floor for several minutes.

Drogba did a similar thing against Arsenal didn't he?

Charged down a defender, when he had no chance of getting near the ball and was booked for that.

Ekotto should've given away a pen as well. He pushed Pienaar so it was in no way a shoulder charge. Anywhere else on the pitch and it would've been a free kick.
