Weird stuff that you did, that you thought no-one else did?

I used to do similar things, if im ever on a long journey ill always imagine something or rather

Sometimes ill imagine me jumping out the car and running the same speed as the car, sometimes if im in a bad mood ill just picture people I hate and act out a fight in my head, I'm sure slightly psychotic in that respect because it always ends in a very brutal manner, infact I occasionally picture myself shooting someone or other form of violence

must be the computer games.......yes i'll blame the computer games :p

When I was younger I used to imagine an invisible trail eminating from me, so if I walked all the way around a lamp post or something, I'd have to go back round the other way again to stop it from snagging

I bet you have a little OCD in you :D I feel like that sometimes - I hate it :p

I have some OCD, and it seems to be getting a lot worse in recent years... running back when halfway down the street to check I turned everything off, or to check I locked the door properly. :(

It makes me quite good at my job though as I am very meticulous over everything I do :) I constantly feel the need to improve scripts and the like too.

When I'm reading or just see a random word, I stop and spell out the word using a keyboard layout in my head. Then just continue reading, or go about my day. :p Jeez, I feel nuts!

When im a passenger in a car i hop lamp posts with my toes.

Ive done this for a long time, and whenever ive told people they thought i was wierd.

Im so glad im not alone haha

Yeah I had a little bit of trouble like this when I was in school - it's a little better now - but I have my moments :p

wow thats fairly wierd i did this as well yet i imagined it was a werewolf...how very strange i believe it only started happening after i watched dog soilders though haha...and my friends calll me strange when they see the silver stakes i keep in my car what do they know ehhh

Walking down a busy street I'd imagine I was in a racing car and other people were also. I'd pretend to get up close behind them then drop it down into 4th as I went past, then down into 3rd as I sped off. Noises are optional.

On long car journeys I used to imagine a character running alongside the car, jumping over obstacles.

I also did it!!

another thing i did was when the windscreen wipers were on id look to see if they came down between lamposts while driving, now that is weird...

Hah, I did that and the jumping thing as a kid :) Funny how many of these odd habits are common. Must be some subconscious human nature thingy... where we seek patterns and the like.

Enjoyed torturing ants and woodlouse with magnifying glasses at my grandparents house.

I'm almost out of time so I'll check for replies tomorrow, next inmate is waiting for his turn.

As I go past lamp posts as a passenger I clench and unclench my jaw as if counting them... Odd eh... But sometimes I do the imaginary person (it's usually Lara Croft for some reason, must be from the days of Tomb Raider I!) jumping over things and generally being awesome.

I've just had a revelation of sorts. Reading 4chan's /b/ (a dangerous hobby!) I discovered other people do this too:

On long car journeys I used to imagine a character running alongside the car, jumping over obstacles.

I've spoken to a mate and he did this too, I asked a female friend and she didn't. I don't do it any more (as I'm always driving), but I suddenly felt a lot less like a freak. I'm obviously not going to link to the 4chan thread, but did anyone on here do this too? Was there anything else you did as a child and mistakenly thought you were the only one to do it?

I used to do that when i was younger... but it was my hamster and not a person that was running along side! lol
