Weird stuff that you did, that you thought no-one else did?

I can completely shut off at work so my brain is down for the count or in a world of its own and yet my body will do the job for me.

Ive loaded trucks and then while sitting in the escuvator waiting for the guy i work with to come down i will suddenly thing to my self as i see him come down the hill "OH **** I HAVE JUST SAT HERE FOR THE PAST 20 MINUTES LISTENING TO THE RADIO"
Then i look at my truck its its all fully loaded up and ready to go with out even knowing i have done it:D

Its getting worse by the day, I keep having to double check myself every now and then to make sure my body actually did manage to shut the rock bins with out my brain telling it too:p
I have done complete rounds of the quarry like this day dreaming the entire time while my body did the work =/

Used to do this with a ninja! only just remembered now though, he would run accross the roofs of houses and then jump down onto car roofs etc.

I used to think I was the only one in the world who puts their finger in the mouth of a yawning cat and watched as the cat's jaw bounced off when it tried to close its mouth, until someone posted the exact same thing in here.

Sometimes when driving long distance on the motorway I imagine in my head what it would be like to just hit the barrier doing like a 100mph or something. It makes me laugh but is pretty disturbing.

I had a guy on a skateboard jumping on roofs of houses.

I used to 'race' droplets of water on my car window.

I still work out words on car registrations, and count stairs as I go up/down them, and paving slabs between driveways. That one comes from my paper round as a kid.

I still work out weird counting methods. I have to make everything equal 1. If there's 4 things in front of me, like buttons on a remote, there's four 'things' and 5 gaps. That adds up to 9, if there were 9 buttons there's 10 gaps. That adds up to 19. 9+1 = 10. 1+0 = 1.

Yes, I'm very strange.

i used to do what the OP did.
I also try and "race" things, eg, ill be walking down the street and a car will becoming from behind me. Ill try and race it to the nearest lamppost.

i also dont walk on the cracks of rock tiles on the floor.

When I saw raindrops hanging on the school fence I'd try and get them on my finger with it trickling down, so I had a drop of water on the tip of my finger. I used to hopskotch on the pavements that had tiles lain like the outlay of a hopskotch :p also, there was a tree in the playground in my lower junior years of primary school that was a spitting image of grandmother willow from Pochahontas. I suck my thumb when I'm deep in thought sometimes too. I check my hair for split ends and when I find them i pull them apart. I constantly use my mums blood sugar tester and waste all the little strips, the tips of my fingers are completely perforated :p. I argue out loud with myself, well I generally talk to myself all the time. Maybe I need to go and see a shrink...

EDIT: I can't run on pavements, or concrete or anything solid since I cut my head open when I was seven. Well I can run, but I can't bomb it like I usually do on grass or anything :(

On dual carriageways etc, I used to and still try to calculate the speed of the other cars relative to the car I was in (although I didn't quite think of it like that as a kid).

I also used to stare at the railings as they whizzed by, then move my head from left to right until I felt sick.

I used to do something similar, but I'd find a spec of dirt of similar on the window and by moving my head around try and make it not hit any obstacles in my field of vision.
This for me, glad there's a few others, also various things with water drops when it's raining, and another one for the sticking your finger in a cat's mouth. nothing else I can think of but I wont be surprised if someone posts something that jogs my memory
