Wow, you're all very odd,

I dont have to keep step with it but it is the music that plays in my head more than any otherSometimes when I'm walking I have to keep step with the Imperial Theme from Star Wars.
Almost the same, I spend a lot of time watching things move when I open one eye compared to the other, I think that's pretty common though. I also see slightly different tones of colour through each eye so it adds to the experienceI used to sit there and close one eye, open the other visa versa repeatedly to make things seem like they're hitting into people.
The problem with that one is you get some funny looks.
I've just had a revelation of sorts. Reading 4chan's /b/ (a dangerous hobby!) I discovered other people do this too:
On long car journeys I used to imagine a character running alongside the car, jumping over obstacles.
Yep I did it!.
When i was a kid i would never walk on all 3 those 3 manhole cover things you seen on pavements, if i stepped on the first 2 i would jump over the third as i thought it was bad luck, acctualy i still do that now.
Same as OP but my character jumped from car to car in the oncoming traffic had, to get quite inventive when there were no cars for long stretches.

I've spoken to a mate and he did this too, I asked a female friend and she didn't. I don't do it any more (as I'm always driving), but I suddenly felt a lot less like a freak. I'm obviously not going to link to the 4chan thread, but did anyone on here do this too? Was there anything else you did as a child and mistakenly thought you were the only one to do it?
I also did it!!
another thing i did was when the windscreen wipers were on id look to see if they came down between lamposts while driving, now that is weird...
I used to imagine a massive blade extending from the car, just slicing everything at about hedge height, so everything was perfectly level. +1 to most of above as well.
Walking down a busy street I'd imagine I was in a racing car and other people were also. I'd pretend to get up close behind them then drop it down into 4th as I went past, then down into 3rd as I sped off. Noises are optional.
