Weißgold - Silverstone Sponsored ITX

Small update, I am talking with pexon about getting some cables sleeved. I'll be posting what I think I'll be getting soon, however as always, recommendations welcomed.

After managing to squeeze something out of Sketchup, I've come up with this for a 24 pin idea:

An 8 pin CPU (and probably same for PCIe):

I am (sort of) back!

My computer is in bits; I am being held up by OcUK being out of stock on MTN Primer and the TD03 :(

I am feebly holding out hope that I win the Silverstone sponsorship (my entry had a few details and ideas not listed here), but if not, I will be purchasing an SG05 regardless as I prefer its even smaller size.

Currently have no CPU at all, however the 770 has been dismantled ready for some colouring. Also got some new white RAM to match.

Pictures will begin to trickle in as soon as my PC is back up with a 4770k (meaning I'm now an official Haswell expert having had an i3, i5, and i7 :D)

I very much doubt I will, but if I don't then I can still get the Silverstone parts at a stretch.

I need to delete all that rubbish about RAID, it's just annoying there :p.

tbyeah, if you still need that primer, check local model store.
I just bought 2 cans of white primer and it looked nice and worked wonders - check last pics in my project log - used to paint some fans.

I've found some other primer online I could use - you reckon a 400ml can is enough for a case (as just a thin base layer)? I've got two fans of actual paint.

Barely.
And it would be very thin single layer.
I used 1 and a half of 400ml cans for 12 fans, sprayed only 3 from both sides.
And used some on my megahalems too.
You will use at least 2 cans on a case, if not more.

Well bear in mind it'll be an SG05 which is really tiny, and it only needs to be a very thin layer. If it feels a bit too little I'll just order another can.

i7 will be here tomorrow, then I will put up a picture or two.

Also ordered primer, vinyl dye, and paint pens in black and gold. Still need to get some plastidip, and maybe some more primer/paint.

As soon as I'm SURE I'm out of the Silverstone contest, I'll start to buy some parts like the TD03 (definitely) and the SG05/PSU (maybe) :p

The MTN 94 was just winking at me and I had to do something, so gave it a go on the IO shield sans primer.

It came out OK, could do with 1-2 more coats. Was done very quickly.

It's not quite a brilliant white (this may just be down to the needing a coat or two), it's slightly less vibrant that my Teamgroup RAM. But it's nice.
