Well done amazon, Not!!

that will be cancelled, got 40 quid off amazon branded stuff. the usual sorry thing

So you're getting a replacement TV and they've given you some vouchers to apologise for the crap delivery service - what more were you expecting to consider that they 'give a toss'?

Amazon has been going downhill for me personally. Latest was an item they said would be delivered same day, then said sorry it's delayed, should be with you in 4 days time. All very odd.

no the 40 quid was for mess up yesterday

OK, so you've been given £40 of vouchers for them missing the delivery... are you expecting another £40 of vouchers for the delivery being left outside like that? I'm just intrigued by what your expectations are for them to resolve the situation that would make you feel like they 'give a toss'

Thats too obvious no one is going to nick that.

Yeah criminal scum walking past thinking.

I don't like how Amazon don't stick to the delivery dates.

It seems to be a general attitude at some level of society that they think we, the plebs, haven't got anything else to do other than sit around waiting for them.

they wouldnt send replacement untill next week, lady told me she would raise complaint but she said itwouldnt go anywhere, i would have been happy with next day replacement as supposed to be delivered tomorrow and its stiill in stock, though price has gone up but am being forced to wait till next week

Must admit 99.9% of the time Amazon have delivered to me on time when using Prime delivery. Shocking they'd leave a tv at the door like that.

its rubbish but i would be fairly confident the tv is ok..... you have informed Amazon so i would test it. if it is anything like my 65 inch and 70 inch sets there will be so much polystyrene around them that no water would have gotten to the good stuff.

funnily enough of all the over the top packaging for tiny bullet proof items the only issue i have had with amazon was............. a totally unprotected external HDD posted through my mid door letter box, and a book which was left outside in the rain.

the HDD was actually ok after a full test but was still ridiculous, and the book was replaced

Probably works just fine so asking for a replacement just puts you out as much as Amazon, if not more.

Do you have a delivery instruction to leave your Amazon deliveries by your front door or porch by any chance?
Cos if you do, the delivery driver will get in trouble if you're not home and they decide not to follow the instruction, even if it is a big TV... If there is an instruction to leave at front door and they press the neighbor option it flags on the Amazon system that they have not followed instructions and it gets marked against them. Even if it's raining, Amazon will say it's going against the customer's wishes

Not on the same scale, but they've left loads of my stuff on the step in full view of everyone passing by. They can't even be bothered to hide it between the wheelie bins or put it down the side of the house.
