What do you define as success? Stability? Silverware? CL footy? He brought all of that and still does (after a dry period, admittedly).

If you define it as regularly winning the Prem and the CL then you're pipe dreaming. Arsenal aren't at that level and changing the manager won't take them there.

what do u mean not in the last year? Di Matteo has achieved higher success then wenger in the last 10 years and that telling you something.

I define success for arsenal as a club that can compete with the very best and maybe win a league or CL once in a while.

stadium capacity and amount of money it costs to see us(more then the cost of watching barcelona play) we all expect us to compete and give teh top teams a run for there money on the pitch.

Ermm he was given time off for the game against Galatasaray a few weeks back. So he has been rested somewhat.

Thankfully le donkey and Debuchy are back playing so that kinda eases the burden on Sanchez a tad bit ie Le donkey scoring a few the past few games.

As for Wenger??, im 50/50 on him now. Not that bothered anymore if he stays or goes..personally he should have left after we won the FA Cup but he felt he needed to stay. Will we compete for the title if he sticks around?? probably not as he doesnt seem to grasp the simple concept that that we need major strengthening in our defence ie CDM and CB for a start. Wenger just seems happy with our usual 4th place trophy yr in yr out, a few yrs back i could understand that was our aim but seeing as the past 2 summers we have spent almost £100mill on Ozil, Sanchez, Chambers and a few others...we cant be settling for 4th ****ing place every goddamned year....we should have been in the mix for the title this yr as last yr we were in it till xmas before it all fell apart.

Not sure Klopp would be the right guy either, I love the guy and think his sense of humour would be welcome but not sure if he would be the guy to take us further. But then on the other hand I think its time we had some fresh new ideas come into the club but who?? i have no idea.

For me the major problem at Arsenal isnt Wenger but rather our greedy board members, who feel that Wenger is untouchable. Wasnt it a few mths back that Chips Keswick said that we dont challenge Wenger on any decisions he makes??:confused: In any other job, Wenger would have been shown the door without a second glance. Then we have Kroenke, who takes out £3mill for his own use...majority of his teams in America are all flop tastic as well.

got close a few times in his heyday.

we have not gotten close for the past 5+ years. we have fallen badly.

like i said, for the prices we pay, the money invested in salary overal and the point of moving to the emirates, we expect us to at least compete with the very best and occasionally win a few trophies or so .

If Dortmound and Athletico can compete with the very best in a smaller budget then arsenal, so can we and thats the point DM made but people refuse to aknowledge that.

we have not. we have failed to do so. the FA cup just papers over the cracks. We are still not competing with the very best and we still make same stupid mistakes every game we play.

Many none arsenal fans or arsenal fans backing wenger all think people who want wenger out are fickle fans yet you got united and liverpool fans all wanting there managers(moyes for united), gone after only a handful of bad games.

Jesus if LVG diddnt go on a 5 game winning streak, you lot would all for his head and no one would think your fickle.

If its wenger who has had 10 average seasons on an idle state, they are fickle for wanting wenger out..
 
No people think you are fickle for one week wanting him out, the next week taunting DM for wanting him out, to then agreeing with DM and saying you have wanted him gone for ages and never changed your tune.

You are either account sharing or have such a bad memory you really should get yourself check out.

I actually do think you have memory issues, I proved and quoted your posts last year when you did this exact same thing. Quoted your flip flopping and yet you have forgotten already. I do think you need to get yourself check out :(

Now you are saying when was the last time you said you wanted him gone, yet you have been at pains to tell us only you and DM have been consistently banging the drum to get rid because of the same old issues. Which is it Jonney?

A. It's been years since I wanted him gone

My very link above shows you how it meets you very definition of fickle, it wasn't even 6 weeks you went from wanting him out to asking "when was the last time I wanted him out".

Seriously you need help. Even if you do a 1 year and longer search and skim the posts you can see how often you tell DM he's talking ****. Only now though you say only you and him have been saying for years he should go. Do you think everyone has the terrible memory? No you said I change my tune every week. I challenged you and anyone to show me a post wanting Wenger our these past year or so and you have not provided nothing.
