Don't mock. Last week there was this guy on the table next to me proclaiming loudly that Brexit is God's will and that's why he made Britain into an island. I felt inclined to advise him of Doggerland, but decided against

I honestly thought most of them had either died off were too full of remorse for their decision and unable to provide any function in society!

So, back on topic then :o

Tried the Spoons in Folkestone and tbh what a brilliant job they've done with the building, but it seriously needs some acoustic panels to reduce the din.
App to table is quick and the place has a decent amount of friendly staff as well as security.

Decent burger + nice can of IPA for the same price as a few hours in a city centre car park cannot be bad.

Went into the one in Stamford today for the first time ever, I don't actually live that far from Stamford at all, about 30 minutes drive but other than going through it on my motorcycle a few times I've never really looked around and what a nice place.

The Spoons was average I suppose, not meaning in a bad way, was just... average for Spoons.

Definitely go back and have a wonder around again at some point though.
