I vendor is going to work on stock communication a bit better hopefully :)

My order has actually just been shipped although it still says unconfirmed.

But it's the ASUS Prime B350M - Apart from the apparent increased overclocking
possibility I don't see the need of a X370 in my position. I just wanted a micro ATX board. I want it now! :D

mentioned on another post, give ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and others a month for Bios updates, and you'll see much better performance . really down to AMD NDA. expect vendors to be reading and receiving info from review sites and writing BIOS updates as we speak.

Yeah I realize there is apparent performance issues that can be fixed in upcoming BIOS updates but the 1700X I ordered as well will be a big improvement initially regardless.

I would have personally gone with Gigabyte's mATX B350 if it was in stock simply for the specs but I've enjoyed my current ASUS board and they weren't out of stock. (They are now)

yeah, for stocks that is the fault for board vendors , should have had that little bit more faith in AMD and also make staff work through their holidays for a major launch hahah

We will probably see new motherboards and/or new versions of current ones, Gigabyte will probably release a 1.1 rev. of almost their whole line up since not everything can be fixed through BIOS updates. DDR4 'adapted' for Ryzen has also been announced https://betanews.com/2017/03/03/g-skill-flare-x-fortis-ddr4-memory-ram-amd-ryzen-am4-gaming/. Ryzen will probably get some new microcode and revisions as well (easy to spot with CPU-Z). It will take time, but in the end things should be working as expected.

I've ordered the Asrock Taichi due to the power phases, onboard wifi and 2 m.2 slots. They've also released 3 BIOS updates so far compared to ASUS 1 and 1 beta, they seem to be very on the ball updating the BIOS.

I'll not be building for a few months, so thankfully I'll be able to make a more informed decision than if I was buying now. I did happen to like the look of the MSI SLI Plus when it was teased, but have seen nothing of its specs or price.

Anyone know the ETA for the am4 boards? Everything is pre order but with no ETA...

I want gigabyte but I've decided to hold off for a while and see how things pan out over the next month or so. Shame because I have a new case and psu taking up room and money to spend but I feel uncomfortable with it as it stands
