What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

37 here.

The only multiplayer game I've played was World of Warcraft back in 2005-9, so was late 20s / early 30s. Was a great community back then, gamers of similar age to myself. It's mostly kids/teens in there now, so I don't entertain the idea of gaming with people one-thirds of my age.

I do have a Steam account though, and I log into that most days.

DotA2, TF2, CS:GO and H1Z1 Battle Royales mainly, with a little bit of Dirt Rally and other random games thrown in like This War of Mine, Prison Architect, Tropico series. I used to do a bit of competitive in TF2, but have since moved on and now my main focus is DotA and H1Z1...I think its going to be mainly H1Z1 Battle Royales going forward, although I'd rather be back on dial up playing Quake2 on Wireplay :)

seems to be soon as you hit 30 ish you stop playing mp

if anyone wants to play in a squad that ptfo`s on battlefield 4 add me as a friend on most nights

50+ here. Zero interest in MP, give me a good SP game any day over kids and whales.

Just finished a double reprise of Deus Ex HR (DC), one non-lethal (still can't get Pacifist) and one psycho run through.

At the moment plodding round in Flight Sim (FS9 & FSX) having just joined a virtual airline. Another play through of GTA V is a possibility but reluctant to start and leave off for Fallout 4 etc. Have also got to finish X3 Terran Conflict still trying to make microchips for the Hub, then maybe another go at Rebirth (though still to look at Albion Prelude).

44 - it all began with a C64!!

Just completed Mad Max - excellent game.

Now onto Witcher 3 on PC but also just started playing Destiny on Xbox and its rather good.

Similar experience as I played it for 5 months or so from release and always played as a Paladin but realised how crap that was in PvP at first and lost interest.

Elite -Backed KS

I feel old 42 here and this is what I’ve got sitting in my steam store all still to be played. Not played games for near on eight years and that is why I currently rock a 2004 build PC. Just picking up games on sale on steam just now so I have something to play when I get the new PC. Last PC was bought for BF2 after playing through all the classics 1942, C&C, Sim City, Red Alert, TA etc. Must be something to this CSGO as so many play it. Also interested in Dayz if it ever gets finished.

Elite was backed in KS so that is why later on this year or early next I’ll buy a decent high end rig off OCC. Only thing worth keeping is my newish ASUS 27” flat screen.

I only just scrape in here at 30. I'm the opposite to most here it seems as I'm losing interest in big single player games. I don't find I get the time to sit down and play a good chunk of single player at a time so end up losing interest in games like witcher 3 as I can't get fully invested in it.

That said I'm really looking forward to fallout 4. Fallout 3 is still one of my favourite games on the pc.

Now I just play battlefield 4 with friends on teamspeak which is great fun for just dipping in for a couple of maps as a squad.

Dangerously I've just installed day z mod again, sunk a lot of hours into this and epoch a year or so ago.

Also enjoying Assetto corsa. Splashed out on a t500rs when it was on sale this time last year and still play it a lot a year on. Great racing game, but still finding the multiplayer a bit hit and miss. Literally.
