What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

Been playing Dark & Darker today. Had to jump through hoops to find the download and then the update (some copyright argument apparently so it was put up as a torrent rather than on Steam).

Its a battle royale type game with the shrinking circle, a la Fortnite etc, but in a D&D kinda setting. So you have Ranger, Bard, Barbarian etc with their archetypal weapons thrown into a dungeon with other players and enemy AI and you have to try and escape through a portal to keep all your gear.

You can tell its fairly early in development, needs a lot of work but I had a lot of fun. It is brutally hard though!

Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns Of The Patriots on PC in glorious 60 FPS and upscaled and 21:9 patch. One of my all time fav MGS games and going through it again (not played for years) is a blast.

What's changed in the game (for the better)?

At the moment
Server population is steady
New area
Still grindy levelling on skills eg crafting but not as grindy as it was on launch
Gearsets now available you get 2 free a 3rd free if you finish the season track bad side is additional gear sets a fiver can have upto 10 at the moment
Cost of azoth for travelling is virtually zero
Storage from other towns is accessible from any towns

Pvp still sucks but I play only for the pve
Gear score is not as a pain in the ass to level up

It's not a bad game still room for improvement tho

finished observation today.
it was good.
I liked how I could just play it at my own pace and could put it down if I needed to deal with something else.

Started going through the Saw films again. Currently on number 3. (saw X is coming out in October and John Kramer is supposedly in it, not sure how though as he died?)

But does anyone remember the game?
