What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

I played an hour or so of Plague Tale Requiem. It looks beautiful but the game play is very frustrating. Not sure I'll be able to keep going with it.

Struggling a bit a the moment. Atomic Heart, OK but a bit meh, High On Life, fun but a bit too childish?? RDR2, pretty game but didn't seem to float my boat.

Loved Horizon ZD. Really enjoyed it. Might try FO76

I felt almost exactly the same about all those games. Excpet RDR2 - I had a great time with that one. Atomic Heart and HoL, I finished both, even quite enjoyed AH in places, but in the end felt they were both pretty mediocre. I abandoned my Requiem playthrough after a few hours, despite how nice it looked.

I have put a lot of hours into FO76 and I'm still quite hooked on it, but truth be told I am not sure I could really say why.

38 and playing FO76, progress is slow but enjoying a lot. So much to do and I have not even looked at the atomic shop yet.
NFS Unbound. Nearly given up on it. Mechanics are broken so 1 car per tier is quicker than any other car and the game promotes ramming so it gets tiresome. Worse than Heat. Also I have the EA App version and my Stadia controller does not work unless I add and launch the EA App and the game exe from steam. EA suck and stupid things like this make EA even more unattractive.
But if Borderlands 3 but there is way too much content and starting this late makes the vanilla seem boring knowing there is so much dlc.

56yrs young, got Cuberpunk 2077 over the weekend, OMG FPS rpgs have improved since the last time I played one (The legendary Deus Ex from early 2000), normally play Totar WarWarhammer

Still playing Diablo 4, made it to act 5 and am at lvl 44. From this evening I will also be playing Forever Skies when that releases tonight, which should all tide me over until Remnant 2 releases on July 25th

Since The Finals closed beta has just finished I'm currently splitting my gaming time between Terrestrial (recent-ish Commodore 64 shooter) and the Dragon's Lair Arcade1Up cab I got from Game :D

How is Forever Skies? Had it on my wishlist for a while and noticed it's come out on EA yesterday. It looks like Subnautica in the sky - would that be accurate?

Yeah, its sort of a cross between Subnautica and Raft, but in the air. Only 5 hours into it so far and its early access so dont know yet how much content there is at this stage but enjoying it for sure.
