What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

Currently my main game is Rust, but I play Overwatch if I'm on my own since it's something I can hop on and off of. Occasional bit of CS but most of my competitive drive has gone when it comes to gaming.

Been playing Super Mario Wonder on my switch recently and really enjoying it. Every new level brings a smile to my face with a new enemy/feature/mechanic.

It’s the first 2D Mario game I’ve really enjoyed since the super Super Nintendo version in the 90s.

This is the first one I’ve played where the controls actually feel as accurate as they did back in the 8/16-bit days.
Playing through it with my daughter and finding the same. Nintendo really do have the secret gaming sauce. Amazing what games they are pulling out of the aging switch hardware.

41 now :/ Playing Quake 2 remastered. Still my no1 FPS. Wish they would remake Quake 4, massively underrated! I installed it recently but it hasn't aged well.

Any recommendations for similar FPS? I finished Black Mesa not so long ago and that is one of the best remakes I've played in years.
Have a look at Dusk.

Plays really well.

As per my recent post, add another tally to the uninstalls of Apex. **** that game :D
I used to play this a lot, and did reasonably well, but took a break from it and now im absolutely hopeless. Feels like everyone is twice as fast as me now.

Currently playing World of Tanks but for xmas my other half got me Spiderman 2 and the new CoD (i didn’t want that but didn’t have the heart to say anything) so i will give them a go soon.

FWIW I had a go at Zombies when it was on free weekend and the DMZ-esque play and team ups with other people were kinda cool. Definitely worth a go if you just wanna shoot AI without getting all sweaty against people

I picked up Prodeus over the festive period, and I've been enjoying that.
As suggested, Dusk is also a very good option, as are Dread Templar & Hellbound, though the latter is very short.

HROT is another that is very popular and takes influence from Quake (1). There's a demo on Steam.

Rouge trader has me hooked.

.I think im playing it wrong but it's great fun.

I like that it's kinda lore accurate in that you're going to get ****** for trying to be too good but it doesn't stop you, go for it and suffer.

Battle field is usual go to game, or city skyline. Unfortunately need to up grade my PC before buying city skyline 2. I got few games on the steam sale the other week.
Doom eternal as I still haven’t played it.
The Quarry
Sekiro
Total war warhammer 3, that I have mostly been playing sense I purchased it.

36 and playing warzone mainly. Got into it during lockdown as a social thing with mates instead of the pub.

Thinking of broadening my horizons and downloading Hogwarts legacy too.
