What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

Diablo IV mainly. Have install cyberpunk to give that another go, as didn't get more than an hour into it on release and got fed up.

Also, red dead redemption 2, similar situation, but I just didn't have enough time to play it.

I started playing Path of Exile, and a fantastic game it is! Its been around on this forum since 2011! I'm enjoying a lot more than I have Diable 4 due to the game having depth. Currently on act 6, you can play at your own pace and go back and forwards on the parts you've explored. Looking forward to finding out what the end games all about

47 and playing Elden ring badly. I'm trying to persevere, but combat hasn't started making any sense to me and i feel like the mobs i defeat are by luck and button mashing rather than skill

After finally getting a PS5 I picked up Burning Shores and have been back in the Forbidden West.

After ultra hardcoring it (I'm not usually bothered about getting trophies but it was the only one left sooooo) I've started a relaxed v hard playthrough to take in the sights while figuring out what to play next.

Contemplating Elden Ring although I've only played RDR2 once on the PS4 so am tempted to go back.

Cyberpunk complete Uber duber edition is on my to do list but that means picking up a GPU first (that and Starfield will be pc for me). Then there's a shed load of Epic freebies.

Damn, not enough time.

Having spent far too much time in Destiny 2 since the pandemic, my 2024 gaming aims were to diversify a lot more across other games. So far I've played:
  • Warhammer 40K Boltgun: Thought this was a bit overrated tbh... not really feeling the whole "boomer shooter" vibe
  • Oxenfree: Cool story, slightly annoying characters, nice change of pace from Boltgun
  • Gorogoa: Absolute masterpiece - so simple, yet so clever
  • Aliens Dark Descent: Currently playing through this and really enjoying it!
@Selekt0r I've been meaning to go back to Homeworld for a couple of decades :D got stuck on a level half way through on my first ever play through and then never picked it up again. Perhaps I will since HW3 is coming soon as you mentioned.

After a hectic gaming spree recently I'm on a quiet period whilst I prepare for another year chock full of gaming, starting with Enshrouded on Jan 24th, so at the moment I'm mostly doing some VR games like Asgards Wrath 2 and Demeo and taking part in the weekly rounds of the "official" Walkabout MiniGolf tournament.

Just bought the STALKER bundle from CDKeys for £5-odd (£20 on Steam) I recall really enjoying the original so 3 games for a fiver seems like a bargain.

Does that bundle include the latest release? If so, you've got your self a bloody good bargain! And look at mods for the older games.

Stalker is a game that passed me by. One that I reckon I would like.

Can anyone recommend any mods mostly for visuals as I wouldn't mind having a play of this myself etc.

Replaying The Quarry, this time stitching up everyone I didn't like, letting them trip, fall, get hurt and die wherever I didn't before/killing off the snakes, this game is outstanding, nearly as good as Until Dawn it's predecessor but that's just due to preferring the previous more annoying cast more/the setting/plot, as both are different horror settings.

If you love the idea of a fully immersive interactive film that lets you murder/trip up/stitch up anyone in a 80's/90's slasher horror, then this is for you.

Fully mo-capped with awesome cameo's from Ted Raimi and David Arquette - yes Dewey from Scream :D
