What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

Call of Duty 2003, you can edit config file to run the game in modern resolution. Have been playing this all day today and it's been so much fun, they really nailed the gameplay from the first game. Just 2 more CoD games to play to finish all campaigns again in 2024, some of which I haven't played in like 15-20 years.

i am trying to edit the ini to 1080p but its not working

Finally decided it was time to play The Last of Us, missed the steam sale but got it cheaper anyway via cdkeys. Great game, ran around 95 fps at 1440p, no issues. I might just buy 2 as soon as it's out, or after early reports of bugs etc.

Why did they decide to port these previous Sony exclusives to PC? Did they realise PC gamers ain't buying consoles and money to be had? This was the one game I still wanted a PlayStation for, now I don't need a PlayStation. Only took 11 years.

I'm currently playing Wolfenstein II - The New Colossus and this game has some super crazy and very fun story, not something that I had expected at all. The shooting, graphics and everything is very well done, just some very inconsistent difficulty spikes in few places. It's crazy to think that this game is from 2017, I will definitely try to play previous Wolfenstein games, hopefully those will be also as much fun as this one.

Counter strike, valorant, assetto corsa, automobilista 2, gunfire reborn, hades.. basically the only games I keep playing/coming back to.

when I say playing.. we're talking a couple hours a week :)

Sunk in 100 odd hours in Valheim now. Playing solo atm but do feel at times if it would be easier with another player. It is frustrating at times when you land in a new area and get killed fairly quickly and having to try and do a speed run to get your gear that you dropped only to be killed again and again :D.

I really need to give it another shot.

I’ve tried getting into it several times but never stuck with it.

I’m wondering whether it’s just a slow burner that suddenly clicks.
The start for me was way too slow. I was hoping it would only be the first mission or maybe 2-3 but it felt like it carried on for atleast a good proportion of the game. I did persevere and finish the game in the end and its quite enjoyable in some ways but it was frustrating to be slowed down in the starting missions to follow NPC's during missions, couldnt wait to get to run missions at my pace rather than the slow pace of npc's.

Bought the Last Epoch today, so far it's not bad slowly getting into it and the story is half decent although it hasn't got me hooked but I'll see how it is after spending 5-10+ hours or so

Robocod was a classic! Surprised no other platformer has copied its protagonist stretching ability (AFAIK).
I had a play around with some browser versions of it this afternoon

It really made me wish i still had my old amiga 500 and a CRT TV to try some games like this on

Still got my A1200 in the loft. No idea if its still functional, but was when I sadly packed it away all those years ago when I had a console.
