Saving like a maniac so my daughter can have a better life than I had. She's currently in line to inherit 2 houses and quite a bit of cash. Hopefully she doesn't decide to do me in to get hands on it quickly!!

Sadly my saving means I can't afford a new PC!!

All of my saving money goes into shares, which hopefully mature into a little profit at the end.

I'm putting some money aside with vague house and/or pension plans but nothing definite its just a pot towards that end and see where I am down the line - I'm kind of hoping that in the long run house prices will drop out again at some point and I can pickup something reasonable while they are down. Also got some savings with half a mind towards something fun, but not that expensive, car wise for messing about with and/or that I'm not too bothered about to drive on track, etc.

I should be saving for a house deposit, but as yet my pot is sitting at roughly £0. 4 holidays a year probably need to stop

I've got £24k in the bank, a £1500 car and turned down money from my dad to buy a house so have chosen to live on the streets.

I'm saving to buy myself a cardboard box and a blanket.

That, or a black cab so I can spout racist tripe at people and get a pat on the back from GD.
