What did you do to your bike today?

@Souleh Where's the Test & Bike looks great & the specs are

A track called Kirkistown :-)

It has a biiiig long straight into a first gear hairpin. Baptism of fire for the brembos!

Wheels might be a different colour by then. I crashed last year and couldnt source a new front wheel after buckling it in 3 places so ive just ordered a set and theyre repsol orange- same as my Scott Repsol leathers.

A wee tad extreme no? Unless you often hit dirt trails?
Extreme? No, it's 90% road 10% trail rated.
I don't do any off-tarmac riding so this is a far better choice than the mix of Anakee 2 rear and Maxxis crap I had on before.

I am insulted that you think I have never heard of Kirkistown

Stay up the right way & are you wearing a CAM if so post vids.

Well, 2 hours in and I've almost finished my quick clean on my bike. Using it as a commuter has let it get FILTHY! Not cleaned in a while. ACF 50 has kept it very rust free though from it's winter use.

Just popping out for 30 mins then back to finish it off with an ACF 50 spray via compressor then chain wax/adjustment and tyre pressure check. Then all set for tomorrow :D

Yeah I think I might, didnt FB or performance bike get some a few years ago and the quality was pretty good, I know of the colour scheme I would love but they don't have it :/
Its this one, 2005 MotoGP colours, I know I can get the sticker kit for £50 though :p

On the K5:

I think I will probably just do that paintwork on the track fairing though, have a go at bodging it myself.... :D haha

Look at item 281289533418 on the bay, looks pretty similar to me

Healthy lathering of ACF 50 @ 90psi through a 0.5mm paint gun. Perfect application, wiped down and looking new :D

Won't need to clean again until I sell it in October! Happy times.

Wait what, your selling the multistrada in October whats your plan?

Add the funds to my postponed traveling (postponed a year due to family reasons). I figured buying the Multi was the best way to invest £11k for a year lol. Might lose a couple of grand at most. But bloody worth every penny so far and summer has not even hit yet!

forgot the disklock twisted the inner rotor of the front disk :(

doest look like its damaged the calipers or forks though. garage is closed till monday though :(

that's why I stopped using my disclock I kept bashing my calipers

idk how you'd get it fixed other than buy a new one,

yep gonna be a new one, the actual carrier is proerly ****ed not the disk as in can see it visibly kinked,

cant find where the lock actually hit its the big padlock style typ and i think it caught on the fork not the caliper.

first time i've done it in over a year of using them lol

Tefal, I feel for you. I've done that 3 times.
The most embarrassing was in a car park at Lakeside Thurrock.

Got on, let the wife get on and started the bike up. Bikes always get attention in car parks for some reason so plenty of people there to watch me pull forwards far enough that my feet were both on the pegs, stop dead and the bike and passengers fall silently down onto the ground sideways. Plenty of laughter and thankfully no damage to us. The bike however needed a new disc new calliper, pads and speedo sensor/cable. That little fubar cost over £400.
I've done it twice since then but to no damage as I now put the lock behind the fork so there is no time to get up any speed before it hits the fork.
