What did you do to your bike today?

Had a few nice days recently in between the rain/thunderstorms so clocked up about 1000km. Rode up to a mates house and it started to rain (bloody new zealand tropical temperamental weather)... Time for a high tech garage using some cardboard found at my mates house!

Also flushed out and changed the clutch fluid today and managed to undo the wrong bolt introducing air into the system :( Think I've managed to get all the air out as clutch lever feels solid again, but will find out tomorrow if the gears change OK (wet clutch on the 848 Evo!).

15 mins with a 4mm allen t bar and the front end was off. drained the headlights, hairdryer through the bulb holes for 10 mins and some sealant on the crack. job done. Found a fair few little bits of damage from the lowside so refixed the plastic with good old superglue! saves buying a new headlight assembly and new ram air bits.

yh this is second time ive done them, valve clearances are waay overdue aswell

some silicone sealer is good for your headlight, they use black sealer which melts if you warm it up with a heatgun

was a crack that must have happened when it went down so super glue and electrical tape to seal it :)

just took her for a spin, a tiny amount of condensation but i reckon running it with the caps off for a few days should sort it.

Got them to do on mine also, do you have the proper tools or just the old right socket size trick? :D

LOL! I hope that's a joke :P

This is what gives us Ducatisti a bad rep for pampering our bikes!

New handlebars on the speed triple. They're a touch wider than stock, and also look much nicer :) Took a while to fit, as I didn't realise that the switchgear requires holes to be drilled in the bars. I also need new bar-ends, as I rounded one of the bolts off taking it off, and had to dremel it out.

hammer and a tube,i squished one set last time trying to get them on:(

managed to pickup a spare yoke off fleabay,so might do straight swap then put new bearings on my yoke

Cleaned it a bit. Considering removing scottoiler based on how much oil/grease there was around the chain area and on the sprocket!

Noticed the other day that I'm missing a bolt for the chain cover too, another reason to get a rear hugger as soon as possible!

Checked the weather for next week. Looking gooood!
