What did you do to your bike today?

They look the dogs, I've got the SMX-5s and love them! Like wearing trainers once worn in.

Yeah they fit pretty well already, could do some decent walking in them.

Put down a deposit on a lovely Honda 125 varadero today, pick it up tomorrow :D

11k miles, 2005, 2 owners from new, pretty much mint condition (bit of rust on the exhaust cover), had new f&r tyres, fork seals, chain, front brake pads recently. Can't bloody wait!!! :D

Fitted a sidestand to the track bike for ease of use when I'm on my own. Also fitted the battery to it to bring it out of hibernation, ready for me to finish my studies and get back on the track.

Loving them gloves man, how much they take off you? Could do with a nice set msyelf that attach the two end fingers!

Well removed both rear passenger pegs today, had enough of them sitting there looking at me and never used and never will be!

The helmet was £500 but there was a 15% off sale at Fowlers in Bristol on helmets so got £75 off. The gloves were £70 so basically free. Really comfortable. Apparently a lot of the BSB riders wear them.

Had to replace the helmet and gloves. Thank you easter sales!! Fully carbon helmet and some tractech gloves. £500 lighter today!

Ventilation on those gloves is amazing

Picked up the varadero :D 20 mile A road ride back in the rain, first ride since my CBT and first time over 40mph :D still had more to go at 60/65 so she runs lovely, just need to get used to the gears, shifts were getting smoother by the end of the ride home though.

Hopefully the weather is a little better tomorrow, need to get comfy on it before the commute to work on Tuesday. My aldi textiles held up to the rain too, no water in at all, warm and dry.

haha I remember my first solo ride after doing my cbt,was scary and strange feeling so open and vulnerable but I loved it all the same

just take care ect and remember what you've learnt regarding life savers, much better than mirrors

I've got those gloves too. They're the best fitting gloves I've tried and really well ventilated however the stitching on the inside is really annoying as it digs into your finger ends.

Cost me £59 online.

Nothing to the bike but spent the day sat in the Sun at Brands Hatch watching the BSB yesterday. Great day out, even miss edd1e enjoyed it greatly too.

We met Hopper, James Westmoreland and Hutchinson :)

Approached a junction.
Went to pull out.
Stalled.

Now I need to get a new footpeg and get the brake pedal straightened out..

Happened to me last week except I saved it.
Not sure if biting point has magically changed, if it's idling lower or I'm just a noob.. Probably that last one!

Luckily nobody saw! :D

its ok mate happens to the best of us :)

My most embarrasing one was forgetting i had my disc lock on when leaving a carpark, totally dropped the bike (GSXR 600 at the time) onto its side with me under it lol.

You wait until you become old and go into auto mode I had a cbr1000f few years back and reversed the bike out of the garage and for got to put the side stand down :p the bike just fell on the ground I had the habit of flipping the stand down and walking away quickly when thinking of other things :D
