Sorry fro crap pictures, can't find keys to the RX8 to move it hahaha... anyhope... hope you guys like. I think it looks astounding in the flesh... it's SOOOOoo much thicker than the original. You can even get heated elements and GET inserted at additional cost.

Basically to tell the story... I had an original on the bike... was ripped... so I did a swap with a fella over a year ago to get the basic reconned piped yellow one... and gave him 30 rips.

Anyway, few weeks ago, found this guy who can basically take your seat and do this to it.. SO... just icnase they messed up my original yellow piped one, I bought a knackered old on off eBay... sent him this... cost me £20 notes... and this is the one you see now.

Basically it goes to Poland, to a wizard who for £90 + £30P&P will do this to it! Amazing... I could sell my orignal for around £70 if I wanted but might just keep for backup now.

If anyone wants the name of the guy who did mine... PM me and I'll forward details on. You can have ANY colour, any writing, anything you want, the guy/gal will do it. From the point I sent it away to receiving, it's been 13 days....

worst for me is a bit of gravel underfoot and you almost drop it

Worst one i ever did was fall over at a set of traffic lights, i was wearing my damn workboots & my laces some how got snagged on the gear lever, i couldn't get my bloody foot down quick enough & just fell over in a heap, soooooo embarrassing. :o

Yesterday:
Got the tank off the Capo, replaced air filter, plugs and the two front coils, and removed the pointless and restrictive air intake pipe. Bike now idles perfectly and doesn't flash warning lights at me.

Then on to the Guzzi, went through the whole starter motor wiring malarkey, checking for breaks and high resistances and cleaning up all the connectors. *Click*... nothing.

Today:
Wiggled a wire between two relays that somehow I missed yesterday. Fired up first press of the button. Next stop, MOT :)

Oil & Filter change using Genuine Honda Filter & Castrol Power 1 Racing 4T Fully synthetic.
Went out for a test ride & now the bike is showing 60028 Kms on the clock which is 37299.7 miles roughly :p

Oil is just over 40 quid delivered to your door from Amazon.

Now now ;-)

Well, after taking rear pegs off, realised that on the LHS, the fairing is screwed to the peg... so, going to cut the peg right down to the minimum to screw the fairing back on properly... wonder if the pegs are steel or aliminium? Probably ali by the feel of them...

Ordered some moldex spark ear plugs from the rainforest, used them on the commute this morning...

What a difference! Wind noise in my arai is pretty loud at over 50mph, even on 125, was sooooo comfortable this morning with loads less wind noise.

First I checked my nice clean shed floor under my bike to make sure it was still my nice clean floor after the oil & filter change yesterday, All good there, No leaks so checked the level whilst cold, Yep we're all good to go.
Headed out Derby way through the lanes via Swarkestone bridge (sp?) wandered around Derby for a bit then headed home. Real nice day out there today.

I went over Swarkestone bridge on my bike today also lol

Realised I could've come into work today on bike... but bottled it this morning when I looked and seen a mass of black clouds... not a drop all day. Typical lol

However hiopefully delivery of these will be today... overly expensive and currently waiting on some custom ear material to make my own rubber ear plugs with headphones... however these may work a little bit while I do them.

Are you getting ear plugs because of wind noise or exhaust noise ?

Wind noise tbh... my lid although ace as it only weighs 1150g's is a little windy... so... basically I tend to listen to music when riding on my own... these will just be a bit more closure than using the rubber ones until I custom make my own rubber and headphones next week.

Just ordered a Steering Damper for the front as well... after a lot of arsing around... had about 6 options, LSL (£225), Hydropro (£348), Ohlins (£412), Toby (£280), GPR (£328) and Scotts (£348)... HydroPro just been discontinued for my bike, shame as they did a reactive damper as well... GPR and Scotts are rotary ones, the others are Ducatti style ones... I've gone for Toby in the end... reasoning being, the Ohlins is nice BUT a 1/4 of what the bike originally cost... The Toby does everything well, have a good rep and can be fully rebuildable with a £30 kit... fits the bill.
