What did you do to your bike today?

A few hundred! :eek::D and the rest...

Gonna be doing 200 miles a week commuting in all weathers so wanted decent stuff, being warm and (more importantly) dry was high on the priorities list. Gloves were decent value though, £100 (before discount ;) ) for a gore-tex glove is pretty good I think. They don't have a thermal liner so should be good when its warm.

Will probably do my full test end of summer once I've had a few months on a 125, so wanted decent kit for that too.
 
Went for a 170 mile blast into Wales on "Eric" with my mate and his R1... nice time and safe was had by all! From Holywell, went towards Denbigh, across the moors, Betswy, then turned off onto A4086 to ... Nant Gwynant carried on to Beddgelert... down to Harlet... on to Barmouth for an icecream... then back up near Dolgellau onto Bala for a pint and back home to Holywell!

Time to test new braking system, indicators etc... so all in, this is the list of mods that almost completes him now... pictures from today when we had to stop as my hands were freezing near Nant Gwynant....

Bit different to when I bought him 2 years ago... little tired, unpolished, few marks and unloved... and unused... I bought him for £1,600 notes, it's a 99' CBR600FX with 8,300 miles on it 2 years ago now... and he's now done coming up to 21k miles... and just about worn in I reckon!

you'll see it on google maps,it doesn't look as steep on there though but my god it is

theres another big steep road by a slate mine some way past barmouth but I forget its name
 
Me & my bike now feel it's our Duty to let everybody share the lovely noise that is a V4 & a decent can, So today I mainly rode around in the right rev range to produce the right sound for everybody, I'm so nice. :p

Mmmm, yeah just seen it, doesn't look much there, but then again it doesn't show elevation... may give it a whirl...
 
are those osram bulbs expensive? I could do with a decent bulb,mines pants

EDIT: you mean they are h.i.d bulbs?

These were the ones I went for (OSRAM W5W 5w (501) HALOGEN COOL BLUE Sidelight & OSRAM H4 COOL BLUE INTENSE XENON LOOK 4200K Headlight)... just relaised they're 4.2k bulbs not 5k lol... either way they're fcking amazing... so white it's untrue, the projection from them is superb... really would recommend....

think I cured the oil leak on my zx10r,was coming from the cam sensor and not the rocker cover,need to ride it to test fully though

Loving them gloves man, how much they take off you? Could do with a nice set msyelf that attach the two end fingers!

Well removed both rear passenger pegs today, had enough of them sitting there looking at me and never used and never will be!
