I don't enjoy riding in the cold and when there is crap/salt on the road
albeit that it's probably a few weeks off yet. might drag it out for a couple more rides.
Took a ride to Loomies. God it was cold, but still good fun none the less. oh and CAKE 
Nothing to the bike, but made the most of the 20% off eBay, and ordered a towbar and wiring harness for the car. One step closer to the track bike
is it really Novemeber? this was H-cafe today.
I do like the 2015 S1K more and more every time I look at one. In some ways i miss my '12 S1000RR.
I've had most colour bikes, black bikes are my favourite.
What do you miss about it edd1e? Would've thought the RSV4 covered all bases? A lot of people move from S1000RR to Aprilia, seems like a natural move.
It was easier to ride for me, I was faster at the 'Ring on it for sure (but i only got 5 laps on the RSV this year and i think the extra 15bhp or so the S1000RR has helps.). But the main thing I miss a little is not having to worry about it being fragile.
BUT the RSV4 trumps it for me in other areas, the RSV4 is an occasion to ride everytime i get on it, the noise, the looks and the attention it gets is unreal.
If I could have any track bike, it would be the S1000RR for sure.
Why not the HP4? Isn't an improved more racy version of the S1000RR?
because it's a track bike, would not want to pay the premium or wreck a limited edition HP4.
this is all hypothetical anyway, I'm not sure my track budget with stretch to S1000RR money.

It wasn't the ice on the clocks that was the problem, is was the frozen rear tyre. It was an interesting ride home from work this morning

Started stripping down the new track bike to see what's what and what i need to do (nothing, but the looks of it!).
Swapped the gear selector / quick shifter around too so it's now road shift. i've never used race shift so don't want to confuse myself on track lol.
