did bike safe today, but it wasn't with police instructors for the ride but civilian IAM ones.
seemed a bit meh tbh.
also am i right or is the IAM guy right here.
I've always been told when coming into a corner gears rev matching as you go, , some light breaking on the way in to shift weight to the front wheel, and throttle closed (or close to it) to keep suspension compressed as you turn in then accelerate hard on the way out.
IAM instructor told me this was ******** (his words) and said you should be down to speed before the corner (not breaking just engine breaking) then you should be accelerating as you enter the corner as this "keeps the bike stable" to me this just equals no weight on the front bike running wide and feeling awful.
he said throttling off as you go into the corner will make the bike "stand up"
just ride through the corner as fast as you can, theres no right or wrong way to do it,you either bin it or not
it just comes with experience, most those training guys are up their own arse anyway,
went for a ride over cmc bikes today over Cannock, chap was just about to get into debt on a 2013 white triumph speed triple,i have to admit they are growing on me,but I think they are a 1050cc? id want something smaller for everyday use
