What did you do to your bike today?

Yeah it's something I'd need to get used to, if I buy a litre+ adventure sports bike. I think just having a fairing reduces a lot of the sensation of speed, add the plush suspension and the effortless torque and it was very, very easy to ride quick.

Anyone use merino wool base layers? Looking to pick up some cheap ones (long arm and leg) as I've heard they're awesome in both hot weather and cold weather. Sick and tired of sweating in my leathers and having to peel them off when stopping, should be good to regulate temperature when doing some touring too (and for sleeping in when camping if it gets a little chilly). And does it have to be the 100% merino stuff or is the 80% merino/20% other cheaper stuff just as good?

yh swingarm or suspension linkage bearings,i don't envy you changing those either

I know  plus the bearings ain't cheap!
Need to check the linkage bearings too, but I checked those last year when I fitted the Ohlins and they were fine and plenty greased up before I put it all together.

Do you just wear them as a top under a leather jacket, and they cool you in summer? Have a thick leather jacket that doesn't have venting so not sure it would work without airflow. Have some cheap y Lidl merino baselayers so will give it a go. :)

Wear a t-shirt on top of it. That way the base layer will wick the sweat into the t-shirt rather than absorbing the sweat itself.

I was looking at some merino wool base layers from mountain warehouse a month or so ago, £20 each for L/S top and bottoms but typically they're now gone on the website. I'll try in the shop and see what they have in stock.

the proskins are good cause the compression reduces muscle soreness.
the airsim shirts are just really ncie and light and good for when you're off the bike but still got to wear your jacked zipped open lovley and cool

Unless it's a scam, but the ebay seller has good feedback, they're an actual shop according to google.

Had quite a few bikes off Granby's years ago, used to treat myself to a new bike every couple of years from them, Suzuki B12 MK1, Kawasaki ZRX110 C1, Yamaha XJR1300SP, allways saved a ton of cash because they sell full power euro imports.

Isn't there an issue with imports and insurance ace,
