I bought 2 sizes, there were only layers for ladies, but I asked 1 girl at the store and she was kind enough to ask the manager. She brought a whole box of those layers
I got the typical BS 'the stuff on the shelf is our entire stock that ever existed, there's absolutely not chance there are any in the back' - never sure if to believe that one or not. Oh well, the bottoms are nice, just need to get a top from somewhere now. Might pop to the other Aldi a little further away tomorrow.
According to their site it's down to the bulbs they have manufactured specially to their own design which means they're a straight drop into reflectors
fair enough,seems a lot of money though for hid's
id be tempted to just shove in a normal set and see what they are like
you'll like them though they are fantastic
Edit: don't the sell just the bulbs? Buy the cheap ballast and swap the bulbs?

Started looking at some new brighter bulbs since it's going to be a dark commute soon.
Ended up spending £100 on a HID upgrade from hids4u
Mine aren't the best either, have you done lights before? Is it difficult?

Do they have a bike section on there? Can only see car stuff on there, or did you make do with a car kit?
She was really nice, helpful and pretty hot blonde around 20 probably.
Just ordered some Pirelli Angel GTs. My Supercorsas are still ok, but don't want to risk them when it starts to get icy + by that time they'll probably be a bit low on tread anyway. I'm going to miss them
I bet those supercorsas stick to the road like superglue.
BTW I had a small race with a 2015 Civic, but as soon as we went on a straight he escaped.

They do, I love them, never let me down. If my bike was more of a toy then I'd be getting more, but it's for commuting and I'm not going to risk a silly drop or crash because of near on slick tyres in the ice

Nope, some Chinese 2 quid mount, I can make it more discrete. But I really wanted some footage to test the camera, surely you can understand me. I'll work on the mounting to make it more discrete as atm its huge.
