What did you do to your bike today?

Rainforest links are fine as long, as they don't contain stock that OcUK sells or is releasing to their range.

Do V-Twin engines have the most amount of torque? Like the SD1290 has 142Nm compared to S1000R 118Nm also hitting that torque earlier by 1200rpm's. I don't really care about the speed and V-Twins seem to have the power from the bottom where as the IL4 have it at high mid/high.

What about IL2? Where would that fit in? :p

Never really know with Amazon links. I have mentioned and linked them a few times without an issue. As long as you're not directly linking hardware that OcUK sell, I don't see a problem. It's not like people don't know about it!

Whats the H1 or Tascam like compared to the H2/H4? The H1 is more within my price range for something I'll barely use so quite tempted if it's decent :)6

Edit: hmm, it'd be the H1 for me. Apparently the Tascam is about double the size. It'd go in my pocket, so needs to be small. This looks good http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...ue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A2U91MYQLVFFQO

It's wider, but no taller

Hmmm, that review does push me more towards the Tascam for the build quality. They sound pretty similar (both nice) on another video I found, so there's no issue there.

Is anyone using Chinese levers for their bike? I'm tempted to go for orange ones for the KTM or possibly black with an orange adjuster.

Loads of people on here love them and say you often can't tell the difference between the Chinese ones and legit ones (which I don't believe for one second, but whatever). They're well worth it apparently. For the price, it's worth a shot, they're not expensive and you can always swap back.

It would just always be in the back of my mind that I squeeze the brakes and the lever snaps off or something.

Sure that probably wouldn't happen but what if?!

They are all probably made in China anyway, your just paying for the name,I think you'd be thrown over the handlebars long before the lever would snap

Yes you're paying for a name...and quality control and other reassurances ;)

I bought a reg/rec from china....it puts out 11.5v! No use at all....

Better than being told your reg/rec "is screwed" by a genuine kawasaki garage, that you need a new one, you pay for a new one to be fitted, you have a look, its the same as the old one! :o :D

So only cosmetic stuff, not actual mechanical parts. :p

Edit

I saved 30 quid by buying Chinese pump for my front brake, btw the fluid was so dirty looks like the fluid wasn't changed in a long time...

Had mine on a year and a half, through two offs and they are still as good as ever, the only real issue is they are like half a mm thinner than oem and so have a bit more up and down play. I wouldnt change mine for anything...well until pay day when i can pick up a brembo master cylinder, clutch perch and levers :D

Edit mine are black and grey, the colour has held all this time too, don't get brake fluid on them though.. they are bronze underneath.

Triumph Speed Triple 675 70Kw falls under A2. I actually found a broucher too, but can't find any 2nd hand ones. Would triumph restrict a 2nd hand triumph to 70Kw to further throttle restrict it to 35kw?

I got a 'new' used Ixil exhaust for my bike, bit of a waste of money if I get rid of the bike in December but at least it'll make the bike that bit more attractive. I surprisingly managed to get this on the bike within 15 minutes with barely any problems although there is a slight blow from around the joint but I'll get some high temp silicone to fix that.

It's not much louder but does make rev bombs more noticeable when I'm filtering. I think I may have to remove a baffle though. :D

its a bit of milled aluminium, its kinda hard to screw up :p

the bushings etc you take out of your original levers and swap them over, so the actual wear parts are oem quality.

if you can break a machined piece of aluminium as thick as a handle bar you've got some serious hulk issues, your standard cast levers are more likely to fracture tbh.

i love shotgun exhausts :o

Actually I take that back, its a danmoto exhaust. The IXIL sounds alright, they look so similiar... lol

But yeah, never get Danmoto exhaust, they literally sound like a tin can or a can of monster mounted onto a bit of pipe.

Edit

Remove both Baffles, you'll see how nicely cars make the way for you before you even reach them. :)

I still remember what it was like when I had the Delkevic on my ER6F it wasn't so much that cars behaved they just knew you were somewhere nearby but the pedestrians were terrified, you'd see them hesitate to cross the road even as I'm slowing down for a red light. :D

That being said it was annoyingly loud and I couldn't take it, hopefully this will be a bit less harsh.
