What did you do to your bike today?

Just got back from Manchester, two up with my mate on the back, was cold coming back aswell

Have to say it felt very seedy place Manchester city centre riding around it at night, walking around Chinatown was nice though,I reckon bham city centre feels more pleasant

SHE LIVES!!!! Had to replace a vacuum hose and then had to a loose wire...which just happened to feed the front HT lead.

I had a bit of a shock at the end of the road when i realized I had 5 down and 1 up though! Turns out it's just the elbow for the gear shift should be above and not below the gear axle

Ha, I've done that before, took me a while to figure out why it woudn't go into neutral! :o:D

I prefer it this way around, Changed mine almost as soon as I got the bike, just seems more natural to me

Nice ride out to the carousel at Southport.
A guy turned up on an 05 Harley Speedster that had been modded into a 1920s race bike lookylike - such awesomeness.
Gutted I forgot to get a picture, but mostly like this.

You were obviously hunting out the seedy places :p

Around Piccadilly is generally quite seedy to be honest seeing at you mentioned China Town which is close.

Spinningfields where I used to live is upmarket and nice. Northern Quarter is hipster heaven. Deansgate and the locks a bit chavy. Castlefield is nice.

New tyre on the rear. How long do I have to take it easy on it? Got an 80mph+ bend at the start/finish of a motorway i normally cain it round :p

Glad I thought I'd try out my merino base layer today, 2 smashes on the A449 meant detours galore to work this morning.

Just to bleed the breaks they told me it'll be next week... I'll attempt it myself.

Just in-case I F something up, what breaking fluid should I use? Dot 4 should be enough since this is only a 125?

It should be stamped on the cover on your reservoir but yes it'll usually be dot 4 but double check.

First commute with the xiaomi yi, fully charged in the morning and it was under 50% 5 minutes from work, I think I'll pick up a dual battery pack and charger, they're dirty cheap tbh. I was hoping a charge would last me to work and back, that's at 1080p 60fps, high setting, WiFi off.

Haven't checked the footage yet.

How long is your commute?
In the morning it's around 45 minutes, little bit less at night. It was cold out this morning too which won't have helped the battery.

Get the cheap stuff, it's all the same, you won't notice any difference.

I got 80 or so minutes out of my yi with 1080p 30fps and wifi off.

Editing videos is actually quite difficult! I'll have one to post shortly though I think

Just checked and its down to 25% after 40 minutes of recording. Mind you it might have lost some charge overnight, I'll have to check to see if it holds the charge.

Might be able to get some larger capacity batteries, I'll have a look around.

remember brake fluid is corrosive so wash any splashes off ect

Edit, @mowy 200mile should be enough to bed a tyre in imo, check your oil religiously from now on as well, mines rather low too but I have a bad oil leak from rocker cover

Was it foggy?

He's always causing crashes :p

Turned the gear selector arm upside down/the right way up and I now have a 1 down, 5 up gearbox again! It's made me realize that the old engine must have had -1 tooth on the front sprocket as the gears are longer on this engine
