What did you do to your bike today?

I went to town, walked around 15 miles in total and I missed the courier... grrr.

Oh well, he'll be here on Monday, so I'll stay home.

Haha :D

IC3 - does your yi red charging light turn off/green when it's charged? Reading a few places it's supposed to do something but mine doesn't, it just stays red, and it was at 96% charged 30 minutes ago, has been on charge since then. edit - forget it - it's turned off now, must be fully charged :D

I'll probably post some test footage tonight, nothing amazing happened on my commute apart from the usual lots of filtering (not 'proper' filtering mind, just queues of traffic.)

Edit - found a twin 1200mAh battery and charger pack, the standard battery is 1010mAh so should see a bit of an increase in battery life. £12 so can't complain!

Yeah the charging time is 90 minutes and the red ring will turn off that when the battery is 100% charged. Some Yi's had battery drain issue as the connectivity was bad, there's a fix on youtube. Mine didn't have that problem, it was only a bit out of focus.

Yeah post it, I'm curios to see. You should also include what settings you're using for the reference. :)

Link for that battery?

Expensive month on the bike, but that should be it for a while!

Still not as expensive as my constant repairs in my KTM... the brake pump is faulty now...

Took apart the whole bike, the calipers are working perfectly fine. But the brake pump is broken, I can't find any KTM ones so should I search for universal???

Just rendering it now - some filtering, more filtering, VTEC! and a dog. :D

The audio is a little quiet - my bike sounds very quiet, but on the bright side there's not that much wind noise ever at 70 *cough* mph.

And I think mine is a touch out of focus too, although it's really hard to tell - I'll do some tests as the weekend with non-moving stuff.

For example, look a the number plate

Sony vegas keeps on crashing when rendering, might need a bit more voltage on my 4.5Ghz OC.

Just managed to render a short clip, upping my vcore helped.

Yeah tbh it does look fine - I'm very critical of focus etc but it's hardly noticeable if it is oof.

It's just processing at the moment, give it a while.

Love it, shame they don't do CB400 (47bhp) with ABS on this market for around £4,000. It would be a no-brainer in my case.

I've seen the Honda CB650F today, the lovely sound of IL4 was nioce. I also saw a SV650S 1st gen and that sounded ok'ish. But I definately prefer IL4 sound over V-Twin...

The CB650F was in this painting...

I've got a longer vid rendering, it'll show why I don't drive to work! I'll be using a new channel I created for motorbike stuff for all my main stuff, thought it best to start afresh with a new identity ;) I'll post that up in the youtube thread. I have some awesome ideas for videos but whether I have the talent to make them is another thing! :D

I'll need to get an external recorder for decent audio though, that's a must. Unleash the sound of the mighty VTEC! :p

Either H1 or tascam DR05, both are the same price, roughly, and both produce roughly the same audi. The tascam is a little better built apparently.

Are we allowed to post rainforest links for stuff that OCUK don't sell? Gopro mount/battery for yi?

From gearbest:

http://www.gearbest.com/action-cameras/pp_153557.html?wid=3
http://www.gearbest.com/action-cameras-sport-dv-accessories/pp_170859.html?wid=3

this from the rainforest
http://shop.gopro.com/EMEA/mounts/helmet-front-mount/AHFMT-001.html

And a samsung EVO 64gb microSD card

The battery pack, just search for "xiaomi yi battery" on the rainforest and it's the first result - Newmowa 1200mAh rechardable battery (2-pack).

Never really know with Amazon links. I have mentioned and linked them a few times without an issue. As long as you're not directly linking hardware that OcUK sell, I don't see a problem. It's not like people don't know about it!

Whats the H1 or Tascam like compared to the H2/H4? The H1 is more within my price range for something I'll barely use so quite tempted if it's decent :)6

Edit: hmm, it'd be the H1 for me. Apparently the Tascam is about double the size. It'd go in my pocket, so needs to be small. This looks good http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...ue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A2U91MYQLVFFQO

Received and put an Abus 8077 detector alarmed disclock on the bike. My Xena xx14 alarmed disclock went off randomly all the time, no matter how much I cleaned the sensor, so had to take out the battery. No point having an alarm that just goes off in the middle of the night all the time for no reason. The Abus does seem too quiet though -wonder whether I can just overvolt it by replacing the 2x aaa batteries with a few 3.7v 10440 li-ion batteries in parallel...
