What did you do to your bike today?

Spent since 9am on a CB650F :D omg the throttle :p can't believe I didn't just go straight for my DAS, going down the highway, 70mph in a few seconds is a great feeling :p

It surely is, I'm going to pass my A2 on 47bhp CB650F. The instructor told me that they just have a small plug that goes into the ECU which restricts the bike to 47bhp. IL4 engine will suffer from the restriction more than V-Twin though... :(

Is it easily removable? Once you have the certificate for the restriction surely you can unplug and have fun? Obviously being vigilant and on a private road on your friends seven mile long twisty driveway

Nice :) they showed me the Honda CBR650F super sport, lovely looking bike and sounds great with an aftermarket exhaust installed! :)

once you pass try and get some test rides so you can choose which bike you prefer

there's a huge variety, think all saddles hurt after a few hours unless you move around on it or have a rest

Yes it is, just lift the saddle and boom there's that little box you can just unplug whilst the ignition is off. :D

It is, so easy to ride! I think I'm going to get one of these for my first bike! Just need a softer seat as my arse was hurting after 2 hours on it lol..

Anything will be impressive after coming from a 125 - the CBF/CBR650 is a budget bike though. School bikes are chosen mainly with their ease of use, I used an ER6n on my DAS, it was easy to ride an pretty decent, but I've never buy one myself.

Finally got to work on the S1000XR. Fitted a set of HVMP bar end weights - I don't get much vibration through the bars but there's enough to blur the left mirror. Also fitted oil and water radiator coolers. Still a bit of tidying to do but I had to dash to the pub to watch the rugby final before I could finish :)

Looking forward to actually riding it tomorrow.

Cleaned today with my new Kent microfibre noodle thing. Really impressed with the results, the noodles make it nice and easy to get in everywhere, and it being round your hand means you can reach places that are normally awkward with a normal sponge. The other rougher side is also amazing for cleaning wheels and exhausts.

Also used my Kent drying towel for the second time. First time was annoying as it left yellow bits over my whole bike, but if I had actually read the site, it does recommend making it damp or washing before first use, so my fault. Worked perfectly this time. Can't believe how much of a better job it does over a normal cloth or even a chamois.

Impressed with Kent cleaning stuff so far :)

Come back from the coast just as it was getting dark nice ride some fog for a mile or so but was a nice ride, on the way unfortunately some lad lay on the side of the road no ambulance at the time but was being attended to.

Was nice weather even at sunny hunny on the sea front will be going back next weekend for firework display :D

Just ordered some Michelin Pilot Road 3s for my SV650S. It was still on the original set of Dunlops, which are pretty ropey by all accounts.

Not that I've had much experience to compare against. Let's see how I like these Michelins over the winter months.

Not many people like Dunlops road tyres, they seem to be tyres that love a lot of heat and work best when incredibly hot. Definitely not a UK tyre.

You will adore your PR3's just like me and my PR4's.

Spent 10 mins looking for my keys then realized I had left the keys in the ignition last time out (Thursday) and thrown the cover over it in the garden.
I usually keep it in the garage but been working on the kitchen and there's no room at present.
Have any of you done this before.

was a lovely day today, like summer, all the white mist rising up from the fields ooooo spooky

@Sandy yeah ive gone and clicked on my disc lock and left the key still in the ignition dohh
