What did you do to your bike today?

It takes you 30 minutes to kit up and get the bike out!?

I'm much slower at getting ready @ 5am :p

This is where my house is, i have to wheel it out of the back garden, then go through 2 gates and wheel it down the path until i find a dropped curb :(

I need a driveway :( when coming home i have to ride it all the way up the path until i get to my house, such a pain in the arse :(

Yes, I need to take the cover out, unchain the bike, push it up the hill in my back garden then push it on the pavement till the car park, I then have to quietly leave as my neighbors loved my full system exhaust without the baffle and decated.

So yeah, a car is quicker in my case. believe it or not...

Just ride it out, you'll soon stop scratching your mirrors and exhaust on the way out :D

I have to sit on it while pushing it out with my feet, when I come home though I just ride it slowly up through the gates, still a massive pain lol :p

I spent 3 hours classroom training to start become a blood rider. I don't think it had the desired effect, as rather than being engaged and excited by the prospect I ended up just thinking that the role is patching up horrible inefficiencies in the NHS. I'm going to sleep on it.

Doing all that process with the bike in the morning that weights 127kg is not an issue, doing it with a proper bike that weights over 210kg's should be interesting!

Makes very little difference once you've done it once or twice, first time I got my SV out after using my YBR it felt like manouvoring a tank now it's fine.
Not quite as easy to pick up the back end and move it round though :D

Demon tweaks let me down on getting my order to me today so no nice new shiny chain sprockets and a general service were carried out :(
Might book Tuesday off as that's when they've said it'll be arriving the chain needs doing now rather than in another 200 miles time.

210kg,they ain't that heavy

That's where your balancing skills come in

My bike is about 190kg wet and I used to struggle doing the sidestand 180 degree turn, now it's a piece of cake. As you said, it's all about knowing the balance of your bike. Unless you're pushing uphill as that's hard work!

So far I pulled a muscle in my back and one in my knee, pushing it due to conking out of fuel, the back had me bedbound never felt pain like it

Aslong as you keep it rolling and feather the clutch h youll be fine, just be ready with your feet ect

Took my nice carbon fibre light and noisy exhaust off and put the heavy steel factory quiet one back on. Strangely without having any exhaust in it didn't sound much louder than before!

Now,it's too quiet.

Tomorrow I need to take the hugger off, which will be fun!

Would love to be a blood biker or paramedic biker!

I was thinking of giving it a go when I get more experience, you can speed on public roads legally and get paid for it. I forgot about the most important thing, you can actually save someone's life too. :)

I think I'll require a full DAS though, I'll do some reading on it. It seem like an interesting job to do.

I'd like to try bike courier, I'd need satnav though I'm hopeless with directions

I did deliver take away meals for a while on a 125 cc which was fun
