What did you do to your bike today?

do they make heated seats? those would be nice

I put some woollen inner gloves inside my crappy gloves today, was much warmer

also felt the angel gt's start to let go going round a roundabout,i had to stand it back up,was bone dry aswell

Yeah I've seen a KTM with heated seats, but a cold arse is never an issue, after all a the engine is only a few inches away from it.

I had to turn down my heated grips tonight as they were nearly burning my hands :p lovely and warm :D

Ouch, just a little bit nippy this morning. Salted roads more slippy than non treated roads

good on you, but for me... **** that.

Some of the bigger BMWs have heated seats. I think I've only ever got a cold arse after several hours of winter riding, when the rest of me has also frozen.

This morning I finally got to the stage of needing to put the liner in my HG trousers. I did the jacket a few weeks ago.

Nah, still a skinny git! I feel the cold, especially in my hands and feet - bad circulation/lack of fat or whatever it is :p

Ahh, a 10 minute commute, the bike won't have even warmed up!!

I know, I genuine thought of mine before I took the job was that I wasn't going to get to ride my bike as much! But its too good an offer to turn down.

Hey, may be able to justify something completely mental and impractical now! :p

Exactly! Now something with a tank range of barely 3 figures isn't as bad! :D

I purchased a heated jacket today a keis x25 from sportbikeshop. I was still cold through today after yesterday's adventure, I just couldn't warm myself up. Heated gloves will be ordered next

yeah I was just thinking if your arse was nice n warm it might permeate through to the rest of your body, inc your fingertips:D

There is some truth to that - in survival keeping your core (torso) warm is the priority, this keeps your hands and feet warm. Basically, heat your core first and the rest will sort itself out.

Hmmm, you lose 80% of your heat through your head, hands, and feet though. Is this just because they're normally what's uncovered?

It wasn't the ice on the clocks that was the problem, is was the frozen rear tyre. It was an interesting ride home from work this morning :p

What time in the morning was that picture taken? It was pretty white at 8am with some still frozen ice in puddles, but only -1 according to the Audi temperature gauge. I was thinking "I'm sure he has a garage, why would park the 1290 outside all night?!" :D

Heat rises?:D I think so yeah, everything else is covered in clothing, normally.

What a difference a day makes, yesterday the ride into work was a nightmare, it was - 2 when I set off & I had a front end slide before ide even got to the main road, today it's 6C & it feels like heaven by comparison. :p
