What did you do to your bike today?

What time in the morning was that picture taken? It was pretty white at 8am with some still frozen ice in puddles, but only -1 according to the Audi temperature gauge. I was thinking "I'm sure he has a garage, why would park the 1290 outside all night?!" :D

Just after 6am. I work nights and it's in a secure outdoor car park (I still Almax it to a steel frame mind) so yes it's normally garaged!

Cheers! :D

Although typically the cold snap has passed now, at least here in the South East. Sunny day tomorrow and the rain should've washed most of the salt off the roads. Got to take any chance you can this time of year for a ride out :)

State of most roundabouts here....

How do you report it, got a link?

It would be pretty much everyday around here though, lorries are always being overfilled at the industrial estates then go straight up to the motorway roundabouts and then into Winchester its full of park and ride busses which must get the same treatment .... :(

Ring them. I had to do the same where i used to live, there was diesel all down a winding road, i rang the council and went through to a "road repair" (or something like that) department.

With industrial estates though, it can be awful. But depending on how much effort you want to put into it, you could keep contacting the council and also the local rag and give them a story, should hopefully help identify who is causing it and get them to get their act together.

I helped get a road resurfaced because of the amount of slippery joins going with the road, not across it. Thick ones as well! Just got to keep at it unfortunately, or give up. We're not a country that really takes care of it's roads very well.

Finally put the winter lining in my jacket. was getting a bit too cold to just have a tshirt underneath.

Getting a Pilot road 4 put on the front today...Well I say today or whenever they find where in Southampton the delivery driver left it :p

Got my heated gloves today just wired in the battery connection, going to be yet another thing I'll forget to hook/unhook as I'm getting on and off the bike but even on the lowest setting they were kicking out some good heat so should stop my fingers turning blue in the mornings!

Ouch! There's a couple of roundabouts around my way that end up like that, one of which cost me my first car :(

Naff all you can do about it though, you can complain to the council all you want but they 1) don't care and 2) haven't got the budget to do anything even if they did

This is what the weather looked liked on Saturday where I live, I was walking to work and got caught by snow...

What Brand? I have the Oxford ones and while they're kinda warm disappointingly they don't get hot which means they keep the chill off your hand rather than really keeping you warm. I've ditched them for heated grips this year.

Bunch of women with your heated gloves and grips. I'll stick to my manly leggings and top thank you :p

Must say, merino under layers are awesome, they make such a difference.

Zoom H2n will be on the rainforest's black friday deal at 4:40pm tomorrow. I remember someone wanted a recorder, it could go down to 40-50 quid! :p
