Need to fit my scottoiler but it's too wet and cold to be messing about stripping the air box off to get to my vacuum points :o

Edit: scratch that looks like I don't need to go to quite that much effort but it's still far too wet and cold!

Yer I've just got a fender extender but stuff doing that in the rain!

It say just silicone sealant. I'm right in saying that it's just the stuff you seal showers with?

Might go look how easy it is to get the front guard off actually.

Yep same stuff, shouldn't be too difficult to get it off normally just a couple of bolts and unhook the brake lines.

i doubt silicone sealer will hold it on,its not strong enough

they should come with a strong sticky pad strip and/or some self taping screws,i have screws in mine

Started stripping down the new track bike to see what's what and what i need to do (nothing, but the looks of it!).

Swapped the gear selector / quick shifter around too so it's now road shift. i've never used race shift so don't want to confuse myself on track lol.

Are you going to keep the rsv4? I'd be tempted to have something completely different for the road if I had that beast in the garage :D

Mine held fine with strong double-sided adhesive pads, and plenty of them. I wouldn't want to rely on just silicone sealant.

If it didn't ship with any adhesive then try something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/4229P-Doubl...d=1448797139&sr=8-1&keywords=3m+adhesive+pads

This. Mine came with adhesive strips which have held up so far!

Mine came with some of the 3M sticky pads as well and it's not fallen off in 5k miles even though I didn't do a great job of sticking it on in the first place.

Yeah, will be keeping the RSV4 for sure. Sportsbikes are my thing, although i like super naked's, nothing else seems to do it for me.
