What did you do to your bike today?

@^JP^, Yeah, I think as a minimum you need A2, I know on some tracks suchas Brads Hatch you can ride with A2. Someones sister from here has done a track day on A2 license, he even posted the pictures of her on the track. I believe this was in the sticky license thread, I'll search for it once I get back from work.

Went to get petrol which is 5 minutes down the hill, got lost but managed to get there 2 hours later :D

Then cleaned the filthy beast.

I had to take it out again after it's wash, just to dry if off and burn off any acf50 that had snuck onto my brakes and tires of course.

was lovely and mild today albeit a bit windy,i enjoyed pootling around

had to put a little squirt of wd40 on the clutch lever switch as it wasn't starting in gear with clutch pulled in

I nearly got taken out by a BMW with the common broken indicator fault when I was coming down the A454 I indicated to overtake the car in front and the BMW penis decided he wanted to beat me so shot out alongside, if I hadn't of double checked my mirror I'd have been a bonnet ornament.

Shall finish up the rear tomorrow :)

they look good benji, black fittings look better aswell, they do look odd at first as they stand out so much but after a few days they look great (atleast that's how I found them to be)

Clean them often if you want them to stay white and keep them away from the exhaust. Mine have yellowed from the heat. Have fun bleeding them mwahahaha

Finally tracked down a Harris steering damper kit for my Blade, rare as rocking horse poop.

This will be going on along with the 17" front wheel and USD 954 forks/yokes over Christmas.

Cheers Wazza, I agree about the black fittings.

Thanks for the heads up. I wash the bike once a week so shall keep them as clean as possible.

@benji182, its looks good, I wouldn't want to clean those 'lines' tho. :p

How effective are those dampers in preventing a shimmy? Whilst mounting one of these, do you need to calibrate it? I never really look into the dampers properly, probably because I won't need one for the next 3-4 years haha :p

they stop all tankslappers, just adjust the force of it,think mine has 10 or 15 clicks/hard/soft

04/05 zx10r's are absolutely deadly without one, with one fitted its fantastic (you only need to fit one if you suffer from tankslappers,if not its fine without)on my 98 zx6r not one tankslap ever

as for the white lines I doubt they will get dirty tbf, they will just wash clean like the paintwork

Nice. Makes me want to get some white, or maybe red ones for my Speed :D

But then they're already fancy Brembo braided ones, so probably won't bother unless they need replacing at some point.

I was tempted by red and then changing my rim tape to the below

But wazza put white in my mind and I'm very happy with it :)
