There was some decent ones in aldi for sale for £13 or £15 I think, then there's the optimate ones but they are more expensive

Is it flat? Nothing happens when you thumb the starter

125 batteries a normally pretty small, my varadero battery would die after leaving the ignition on for 10 minutes and after 2-3 attempts to start it would be dead. Can you not bump start it? 1st gear, ignition on, clutch in, bit of a waddle down the road (you won't need much speed) clutch out an bobs your mother's brother :D

Oh and make sure you haven't accidentally hit the killswitch ;)

is the yoke a straight swap or do you need to make a shim/spacer?

The yokes and forks from the 929/954 pretty much fit straight on, even the steering lock still works correctly. Just ordered some stiffer springs for the forks and a set of taper roller head bearings.

The tricky bit is the 17 front wheel conversion. I have a VFR800 front wheel which is the right style, but may have to get some adapters turned up to fit suitable discs. An SP1 front wheel is easier, but hard to find and expensive when they do turn up. I'd really like to fit a set of Marchesinis like the ones on the 749/999, if I can find a set for reasonable money I may give that a go.

Fitted my carbon fibre fender extender. Had to drill through it to make room for the brake line clips but stuck it on with a lot of 3M pads, will see if it lasts!

It's locked away now, the council are still messing about with our path so i can't get the bike out, will order a trickle charger now, should come tomorrow.

Mine came off when I was washing it yesterday, luckily it didn't come off on the 2 hour ride just before! I'm now looking for a more permanent way to attach it.
Yes wazza you were right :p

I think its the sponge in the sticky pad,it soaks up moisture eventually and comes off, cant beat some tiny self tappers

some come with the newer plastic push pins,

@clovis yeah that should work

Yeah I've been looking at picking some of those push pins up although self tappers would be easier but I can't find any really short ones

youd have to measure how thick the plastic is and the thickness of the extenda,

heres some tiny 4mm ones

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2mm-x-4mm...0c3b45&pid=100009&rk=1&rkt=10&sd=262139936294

and some 6mm ones

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2mm-x-6mm...936295?hash=item3d08c1fe27:g:RecAAOSwv0tVdd36

if you can find just the right length you can screw it from the underside of your mudguard without it poking through the top, then no one will see any screws at all (or pack them with a washer)

mine came with the screws so I just used those,i could have made it more discreet I suppose
