What did you do to your bike today?

Washed it ready to soak in acf-50 tomorrow.

Has anyone here used acf-50 and can give me a few tips on what to and what not to spray it on i.e exhausts, engine, chain ect?

I can tell you what I do... spray pretty much anything metallic. Give it a wipe over (with a cloth I only use for ACF50) and then run the engine for a few minutes to burn off the excess.

I don't do the chain, that's cleaned, dried and lubed. I don't know if all this is correct though.

I also spray on and wipe with a dedicated ACF-50 cloth :)

Attempted to clean said cloth after a year of use with ACF-50 the other week. Boiled in a pan for quite a while, over 10 times, with various different types of detergent over several days. Cloth is STILL greasy with the stuff. No wonder it's so good at weather protection :D

Thinking where to mount my gopro on the triple, don't fancy it on the tank because of the speedo etc...

Have that issue myself. Mounted it to the tank a few times and got some great footage, but like you say, it also gets a nice clear picture of the speedo :p

Tried it on my helmet too, but I find it generates too much drag. I'm considering maybe one of those harnesses you can get... Anyone tried one of those?

I'm probably going to get the body harness as I'll be karting next month and I figure this will be the best way to capture it with my GoPro.

Yea I am going to try the harness too, well borrow my brothers first, I use it on the helmet most of the time but again the drag is awful!

I am going to buy the Ram mount attachment for the GoPro and use it with my stem mount, and tape up the speedo....

I've had to mask my speedo in a fair few of my videos when I've put the gopro on the tank. Of course I wasn't speeding, quite the opposite, I didn't want people to see how slow I was going. Honest.

what happens if you get pulled over before you get home?

The chest harness is supposed to be good.

Fireskull do you mount it on the top of your lid or the side?

On the top mate, hate it though, going to buy some more curved mounts and try it on the side too...

Don't the police need a warrant to confiscate a camera?

I have a curved mount stuck to the top of my helmet, seems to work well but the wind noise at anything about 60/70 kinda sucks.

I'm going to try and mount it on the side of the helmet as you get a better view from eye height and also get to see some of the bike too, instead of just the view ahead.

The drift hd is better as a helmet cam as it doesn't stick out 100 foot like the go pro does. Some people attach the go pro to the front of the helmet on the chin bar.

This is a short sample of when the camera is mounted on my brake fluid reservoir.
