What did you do to your bike today?

I do agree with all of you, but I do have couple doubts... maybe I'm just paranoid. But the bike has been posted on 25th September in one of the bikers groups. I've message the guy to see whenever the bike was still up for sale and he replied to me.

The other thing is, its over 160 miles away so I would have to be certain that the bike is ok.

So many doubts... :(

Edit: I would order some black shorties with red adjuster, the other thing that would go straight away would be the mirrors and last thing xenons. :D

12k miles and £2,5k (could probably get that down to £2250 :p)

Fantastic. Get him down to 2250 and it will be a great purchase.

The really surreal, stupid part is, if I'd not bothered with the tracker, it'd be total loss, my gap insurance would have kicked in, and I'd pay nothing out of my pocket and have a brand new S1000RR. Insurance hike would be the same.

It seems so daft that if the thieves had made it away with the the whole thing, we'd all be better off.

Nothing against Road Angel- they were amazing. It's the insurance process that's so dumb.

This si why I would never bother with a tracker. Unless the bike is irreplaceable then I wouldn't want it found as it's a lot of hassle, no benefit and you get to ride a thrashed bike.

Looks like it might even have a Scottoiler already fitted as well from the cable ties on the swingarm.

What year is it?

Little bit far for me or I'd have volunteered.

That looks worth the travel, you can tell it's in very good nick as there's no rust or corrosion on the disc brake nuts or in the little areas at the bottom of the engine etc.

There's also no corrosion on the fork legs which is very common so I'd say it's definitely worth the trip especially if you can knock him down a bit on price.

What made you switch from a zx6r to a triumph triple Clovis? Just wondered

I do like the triumphs though, and I think they are more rider friendly

I thought it was a more sensible option as a first bike, naked and upright, better for me to get used to the power, rather than being leant over the tank of a super sport :) I'm not against the idea of one, maybe for my next bike :)

Can't go wrong with a Triple, until it breaks that is lol.

The Triumph will have more instant torque which might catch you out if you're not used to it, you'll enjoy either one though.

it always seems to pee it down when I go out:( been dry all day

had another wally tailgating me aswell when it was biblical rain, ended up slowing right down and he passed me,morons

EDIT: on a 30mph road I might add
