What did you do to your bike today?

I did an accidental wheelie trying to get away from the lights quickly on my very first day owning my sv650. Not had the balls to even think about trying another, I completely pooed myself.

Did a few small ones on the SV, only one big one as I slipped the clutch pulling away from a stupid ped not paying attention, before I knew it the nose was in the air.

Panicked and halved the throttle for it to come down quite smoothly right in front of some tidy looking females :D

I did the same when I had my ER6F, I'd owned the bike for about 25 minutes and my first ride was to work at night on a dual carriageway. Gave it a little too much clutch and throttle as I wanted to get away quick from the traffic lights

You don't want to do full on wheelies with the SV650 as it starves the engine of oil.

Or any twin for that matter. I think what kreeeeeeeeèeeeeeeeeeeeee means is dont ride them out. Eventually all the oil rushes back with gravity and you end up with an unluned front head.. and thats never a good situation ooo eerr missus

Surprised you guys get accidental wheelies must be dropping the clutch pretty quick or learning quite wrong ahaha... I've only really had one dodgy one when I had the gf on the back and forgot about physics...

It's very easy with the SV650 or Street Triples actually. Heavy acceleration in 2nd with either will lift the front end a few inches.

Exactly the same situation here, with a pillion I don't need to give it that much and the front goes light, probably doesn't help I only weigh 9 and a half stone :/

Spent my morning before work applying vinyl decals to the storm. Not perfect by any stretch. A few bubbles here and there but my bike is starting to take shape.
