No, but since running it flat by leaving my TomTom on it doesn't hold it's charge properly so I really should replace it.
The garage mechanic says he's not surprised.
Let me know which battery you decide to change it to please.

Changed the clutch cable and what a ball ache! Sheered 3 fairing bolts and had to take off the rear fairing, seat, petrol tank and lower right fairing. feeding the thing past the air box was a PITA as well. Done now at least....

We'll see if it dies in France again... that was a hoot last time!
I'd change it to a gel battery if I replaced it, with the added bonus of having more space in the "boot".
Any recommendations incase mine needs changing?
I've been recommended motobatt, I did sent it back for refund as my stator killed it when it was slowly dying out...So, I can't really comment on how good it is, although YouTube reviews seemed positive.
Maybe get a gel battery? Apparently they're a lot better than the acid ones. But also cost double/triple...![]()

Lithium ion batteries hate starting in the cold though IIRC.
Edit: if you want a normal lead battery yuasa are a top name
So your best bet will be Gel...![]()
