What did you do to your bike today?

She moans a bit about it but she follows it up with 'but it's your money I suppose'....I also remind her I would be using the car otherwise and then she'd have to use the bus ;)

You're doing better than me, my only other half since I started riding used to just tell me she hated that "thing" and wished I'd get a car licence. Granted she did have a guy kill himself using her car as brake and therefore any bike will lead to death.

In the middle of helping friend replace topend set had a base gasket leak which nearly messed our weekend up but we still got out for ride he used my vfr work horse so all good :)

That looks suspiciously like a Suzuki GS550 engine to me. Amright?

omg bike insurance time. Last year was about £480 for two bikes in London, new quote was over £1k :o

Played with their online quote system and worked out that quoting for 1 bike came to £283 then adding the 2nd bike would stay at the same amount. Then adjusting any other setting and it'd jump to £870. Phoned them up and they allowed me to get both bikes on for the £283 amount after much playing with the system and talking to there underwriters :) I guess next year will be a big jump up again when they fix that bug.

Did a oil and filter change on the Dorsoduro tonight and while I was at it I fitted a clear clutch cover and red washers.

Yea your right thought I was the oldest swinger in town motor is all built just the exhaust and carbs and time for a test run.

love the 8 valve motors over the 16v
My ZR7 is 8 valve, deeper tune from the exhaust and lots of torque from low down

He has a gs1000 also they do sound nice on full chat where they live most of the time :p

Forks are back on the Hornet, then it started snowing, so it's still outside with no front wheel!

Anyone want to buy a Honda Hornet, 30k miles, 2004 (F4), 100% completely guaranteed non leaky left fork*, only £9,999!

* fork is actually ****** and not only leaks out the seal but also out the side where it was drilled

Stick of dynamite in the tank? :D

I do still want to get it back on the road, so have some watches on eBay searches at the moment & will keep an eye out for a new fork. Until then, it has to sleep.
